We loved our stay at Gut Tribbevitz! The nature surrounding and the lovely staff made for a really relaxing time!
A perfect choice for anyone seeking out peace and tranquillity - and who loves nature and animals. The host/ staff are exceptional - you are staying in their home, not a bog standard hotel. You can enjoy a good conversation and if you wish some education, especially about horses! The breakfast was the best we had during our roadtrip through Germany (7 hotels), notably the outstanding smoked fish, the bread and the homemade jam. The host helped us book local restaurants, lent us bikes, and arranged horse-riding with a wonderful, large stables nearby that could cater for all levels of experience.
The hotel no longer does dinners so you have to cycle or drive to eat. However there is a surprisingly excellent inn in nearby Neuenkirchen, and slightly further afield a chic, new cafe in a glorious waterside location at Vieregge. If you want the latest fittings in your bathroom, this is not the place for you, but the accommodation is clean, spacious and convenient, and the charm and location won us over completely. We would return next year if it wasn't so far to travel from the UK.
