Well located but a little outdated
Pros:

The Carlton Munich is well located in the city, close to many of the main attractions, gardens and shopping area. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Cons:

While it may vary if you go up a grade, the decor of the "superior single" room with terrace was outdated and shabby. The bathroom was adequate but there was no hot water on the first night (not advised on check in) and others smoking outside made it impossible to use the tiny balcony with any pleasure throughout the 3-day stay. The little single bed was comfortable but didn't make up for the other deficiencies in the room.

Pros:

It seemed like an old family hotel. Good cafes nearby, and good Indian restaurant next door. Very close by an S bahn stop. Also near museums

Consiglio solo per un max di due notti.
Pros:

La posizione è molto comoda perché vicino al centro.

Cons:

Le stanze sono piccole, per nulla silenzionse, arredate con mobili scadenti. Le finestre sono inguardabili per non parlare del bagno dove il WC era attaccato alla vasca e non potevi sedere stando dritto. Inoltre sarebbe ora di togliare la moquette che è per definizione sempre sporca. Non mi è piaciuto che una cameriera mi abbia ripreso perché portavo via un pezzo di pane che avevo morso e non volevo che poi venisse buttato via. Mi ha minacciato dicendo che avrei dovuto pagare una seconda colazione! Assurdo!!

Pros:

Alle Mitarbeiter waren besonders freundlich. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr günstig. Man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen.

Ottima colazione, posizione un po' decentrata ma perfetta per le nostre esigenze. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa.

Cons:

Non apprezzo la moquette nelle stanze. Stanza e bagno piuttosto piccoli. Lo staff, per quanto disponibile, non ha avuto un atteggiamento molto amichevole. Nel complesso per il prezzo pagato mi aspettavo un po' di più.

Pros:

Das Personal war wirklich extrem freundlich und kann sich an die Gäste auch erinnern! Auch ein später Check-In durch Bahnverspätung wurde perfekt abgewickelt!
Zimmer sind okay/zweckmäßig für einen Kurztrip. Hygiene war ok :) Mini-Kühlschrank sehr praktisch.

Cons:

Die Lautstärke aus dem Nachbarzimmer war sehr leicht zu hören insbesondere sind die Türen nicht sehr schallisoliert, es war auch ziemlich warm im Zimmer, weil man durch sehr kleines Fenster schlecht lüften konnte.
Inneneinrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber schon ok.
