Pros:

Gute Lage für Natur- und Sportfreunde: Langlauf, Schlittenfahren, Schneewandern - alles um die Ecke. Sauberes, gut eingerichtetes Zimmer und leckeres Frühstück. Auch das Kaminzimmer haben wir am Abend gerne genutzt.

Un court séjour très agréable en proximité de la nature.
Pros:

Petit hôtel très sympathique en lisière de forêt. Chambre spacieuse et très propre.
Les plats du restaurant sont copieux et excellents.
Les patrons sont très accueillants.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön und ruhig am Waldrand von Kniebis.
Uns hat v.a. die (fußläufige) Nähe zum Loipeneinstieg gefallen.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat das Restaurant im Winter lediglich von Donnerstag bis Samstag geöffnet.
Das Frühstück ist hinsichtlich Angebot und Kaffeequalität etwas zu teuer.

We were treated like friends by our hosts.
Pros:

The hotel is a family-run traditional Schwarzwald hotel. The public areas have atmosphere. The stairs creak! It’s great. The rooms and facilities are spacious and clean. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

Nice retro style hotel abot 2 km from the Westweg. Nice staff, good breakfast. Restaurant open Thursday to Saturday so we couldn't try the dinner.
