Kulinarische Genüsse in gemütlichem Ambiente mit toller Aussicht
Pros:

Das Hotel Theresenhof besticht durch eine sehr gute Lage im Zentrum Reit im Winkls, aber doch gut abgeschirmt von der Hauptstraße, nachts ist es sehr ruhig und man genießt die gute Bergluft in fast 700m Höhe. Ich bekam ein Zimmer mit sehr schönem Südbalkon und fantastischer Aussicht auf die Bergwelt, bei schönem Wetter, wie es glücklicher Weise der Fall war, absolut traumhaft schön, da die Berge ab 1200m noch komplett schneebedeckt waren. Das Frühstück wird in dem gemütlichen typ. bayerischen Restaurant serviert, es schmeckte alles prima und im Hintergrund läuft angenehme Musik. Auch das Mittag- oder Abendessen ist ein purer Genuß und es wird eine üppige Portion gereicht, eine ausgezeichnete Küche.
Fürs Auto bekommt man einen Parkplatz direkt im Hof, im Preis inklusive; auch für Wanderungen ein idealer Ausgangspunkt.

Cons:

Das Dusch-Badezimmer war in diesem Zimmer etwas klein, aber wenn man keine Behinderung hat, ist es unproblematisch, man sollte sich aber immer festhalten beim Ausstieg aus der Duschkabine, damit man nicht ausrutscht und mit dem Handwaschbecken in Berührung kommt. Aber alles halb so wild, wie gesagt, wenn man ohne handycap ist, kommt man damit klar und warmes bzw. heißes Wasser ist sofort da, was einem nach einer intensiven Wanderung sehr erfreut.

Pros:

Beste Lage mitten im Ortskern und trotzdem ruhig, zumindest wenn das Restaurant abends schließt. Also: kein Straßenverkehrslärm. Das ist gut.
Sehr freundliches Personal, das sogar das Frühstück persönlich serviert, statt es nur auf den Buffetttisch zu stellen.
Persönlicher Service statt Selbstbedienung. Sehr schön, aber zeitaufwendig und arbeitsintensiv für das ohnehin zeitl. belastete Personal. Aber, wie gesagt, immer freundlich, immer gut gelaunt sind sie.

Cons:

Ich will nicht meckern. Das das Zimmer klein ist, habe ich im Angebot ja gelesen, aber der Eindruck vor Ort im Zimmer war dann doch erstmal erschreckend. So klein hatte ich es mir von den Fotos her nicht vorgestellt.

Zweiter negativ anzumerkender Punkt ist die vorgegebene Anreisezeit bis 19 Uhr. Das is früh, wenn man vom Norden oder Osten kommt. (Auch aus dem Westen ist es weit bis Reit.) Meiner Bitte über booking um spätere Anreise wurde nicht entsprochen und explizit auf die vorgebenene Check-in-Zeit bis 19 Uhr verwiesen.
Dabei hat das hauseigene Restaurant bis 21Uhr auf und Personal ist vor Ort, wie ich dann feststellte. Habe mir bei der Anreise sehr viel Stress gemacht, um ja pünklich zu sein, dann gab es Zugverspätungen und mein Stresspegel stieg. Das hätte ich viel lockerer angehen können, wenn ich gewußt hätte, dass das Restaurant bis 21 Uhr Betrieb hat. Naja....
