Pros:

Die Lage oberhalb von Latacunga mit schöner Aussicht.
Die Zimmer waren, wie auch das gesamte Haus, mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet.. Für 2 -3 Tage ok

Cons:

Es fehlt ein Hinweisschild. Am Abend hatte selbst der Taxifahrer Mühe das Hostal zu finden.
Viel Hundegebell in der Nacht.
Das Frühstück war am 1 Tag überschaubar 1 Toastbrot mit Avocado bestrichen, 1 hart gekochtes Ei und es gab anscheinend keine Milch zum löslichen Kaffee.. Am 2.Tag war es etwas besser und wir haben selbst Milch gekauft und dort gelassen.

possibilitée de mettre sa voiture en sécuritéé dans un garage fermé,petit déjeuner exellent et tré complet; trés bel hotel avec une véranda pour prendre le petit déjeuner face aux montagnes.

Cons:

Nous étions seul dans l'hotel petit déjeuner trés long a venir le 2 eme jour ,nous voulions partir de bonne heure.

Lovely design, clean rooms, and welcoming atmosphere
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel feels friendly and comfortable, with a beautiful design full of wood, which also nicely matches its name Maderanegra.

The man working in the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. He explained many things to us, even checking the bus schedule.

Our room was clean and medium-sized, with a practical wardrobe and plenty of hooks for clothes and bags.

Breakfast was a simple but good start to the day (coffee, juice, cheese sandwich, fruit). Not a huge variety, but enough.

Latacunga is a good base (much closer than from Quito) to visit Laguna Quilotoa (by cheap public bus from the terminal) and Cotopaxi Nationalpark (by tour).

Cons:

The location is a bit mixed: the hotel is uphill from the center. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, but most options are in town, about a 10-minute walk away. The streets can feel very empty at night, nothing unsafe happened, but it was a bit quiet. On the plus side, from the hotel you might get a view of Cotopaxi volcano, which is amazing.

The all-day coffee station was not available on two of the three days of our stay.

Excelente relación calidad-precio !!!
Pros:

Mi estancia en el hotel fue excelente. Quiero destacar especialmente la atención de la recepcionista Tereza, cuya paciencia y simpatía hicieron toda la diferencia durante mi visita. La cama era muy cómoda, y tanto la habitación como los alrededores ofrecían un ambiente de total tranquilidad, ideal para descansar. Además, el desayuno realmente vale la pena por su calidad. Sin duda, recomendaría este hotel y volvería a alojarme aquí.

Un poco lejos del centro histórico, es necesario tomar un taxi.

Superbe vue depuis le salon, personnel très arrangeant.

Cons:

On avait initialement une chambre au deuxième sous-sol avec une fenêtre qui communiquait avec la chambre d'à côté. Après demande, on nous a changé de chambre sans problème :)

Le petit déjeuner très bon, l’eau à disposition, chambre confortable, salle de bain propre avec de l’eau chaude

Cons:

Le quartier n’est pas très rassurant, surtout pour sortir le soir. La ville en elle même ne fait pas très rassurante. Mais il y a la possibilité de commander un taxi avec l’hôtel.
