Hotel Wampushkar

When taking a shower, I had to wait a long till the hot water finally came.

We booked a room with air conditioning and a city view - the room we were given had neither.. See the photo below for our 'view' - someone's laundry at the top of an unfinished building.
The bed was rock hard.
The bathroom had nowhere to set your toiletries, no towel rail, and no toilet roll holder.
Each time we returned to the hotel, the front door was locked, so we had to ring and wait for someone to come and let us in.
The hotel had no tourist information at all. Not even a map of the town to offer us! Certainly not a 'tour desk'. Nor could they offer any recommendations for restaurants in the town.
Breakfast, from the pictures, looked like a nice selection of items, but was actually just one egg and a microwaved bolon, plus, juice and coffee.
Staff came in every day to clean and give fresh towels, which we didn't need, and no hotels do now.
BUT on the second day, while we were out for the day, an expensive pair of earbuds 'went missing' from our room! When I told the guy at the desk, he just shrugged and said no one had seen them.
The next day, he suggested we may have lost them in the street, but we're not 20 years old and don't wear them outside. They had been sat on the bedside table.
So, I would say, definitely not worth the extra that they charge. We won't be going going back and won't recommend it to others.

They should ask if the guest would prefer a room with AC

Almost at all times, no one was present at the reception. Even if I left the hotel during the daytime, when I came back the front door was locked, and I had to ring the doorbell for someone to come down and open it for me. This felt pretty inconvenient, as I sometimes had to wait several minutes outside, and the sun was scorching hot and burning outside. In one instance I had to call the hotel phone number cause the staff inside the hotel wouldn't hear the doorbell. The mattress in my room was pretty hard and the pillows were too small and difficult to bend or accommodate to make them comfortable to my head and neck so I didn't have a full rest at night. When I visited Zamora, the region and the entire country were suffering from energy blackouts but the hotel didn't have an automatic switch to the hotel generator and several minutes had to pass for someone to come and make the switch manually so the rooms could have energy. When this happened, the A/C was not connected to the generator so the temperature inside my room was not comfortable if the blackout happened during a hot daytime. Also, even though it's convenient that the hotel is near the Parque Lineal, the rooms are not soundproofed so on weekend nights, (even though I was wearing earplugs) I could hear the boom-boom sound of the nightclubs and bars in the vicinity up until 3 am.

Bed was hard. Noisy on the street. Little hot water.

the beds were extremely uncomfortable, like sleeping on the floor. the hot water last ten minutes in the shower. no sound proofing at all, be prepared to wake up daily at 6am. the tv’s internet went in and out could not watch a full episode during the five days we were there. every time we left the hotel or came back we would have to wait for a staff member to run downstairs and let us in or out which was frustrating. couldn’t pay with my card so had to use all the cash i brought. no quiet hours

Hot water quickly was gone.
