The reception lady was very nice and did all she could to help resolve our issues on arrival
We didn’t stay as the area was poor (dodgy) and a long walk from the main area and the room did not meet our expectations from photographs. Very basic and felt more like a hostel standard than a hotel
Muy limpio hotel, muy amable la gente que atiende, estaban encantados de ayudarnos en reservar tours en la isla de San Cristóbal, nos recomendaron dónde ir y qué comer.. La habitación era muy cómoda, con televisión, aire acondicionado y agua fría potable gratis! Recomendable 100%

Great breakfast provided earlier by the host than the regular breakfast hours because of early tour times. Host even brought us to the pier in his car.
Shower was not always warm.

Cristi y su esposo son muy atentos, siempre prestos a ayudar. Yo necesité una crema para un golpe y me ayudaron rápidamente. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, camas muy confortables y limpias. Las indicaciones y asesoría para los paseos fueron muy acertadas. Los desayunos muy ricos, variados, con fruta del lugar, todo muy limpio y porciones adecuadas.
La calle pública de acceso no es muy limpia y da mal aspecto.
Alles, die Dame war super freundlich, habe noch einen Fön bekommen, das Zimmer ist super groß, das Bett war traumhaft bequem und das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und serviert, von Herzen danke an die lieben Gastgeber

Die Besitzer der Casa d‘Cristhi sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben Tipps für alles, übernehmen manche Ausflüge auch selbst, wecken ihre Gäste morgens vor Ausflügen oder bei der Abreise.
Man fühlt sich einfach gut aufgehoben.
Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber sauber und mit Liebe gestaltet.

Excelente ubicación, ofrecen buenos servicios comunes, como agua ilimitada para llevar en un recipiente reusable, ideal para recorridos en la Isla. Se preocupan por el medio ambiente y eso es excepcional.
Este alojamiento puede ser una opción para quienes viajan solos y buscan un lugar sencillo para pasar la noche, sin darle demasiada importancia a la comodidad o a la privacidad.
En nuestro caso, viajamos en familia y tuvimos algunas experiencias que vale la pena compartir para que otros viajeros puedan tomar una decisión informada. Al llegar, nos ofrecieron un tour a las tierras altas por $50 USD por persona (éramos cuatro), pero al comparar precios con agencias en el malecón, notamos que el costo era bastante más alto de lo habitual, incluso considerando que incluía el almuerzo. Finalmente, realizamos el mismo recorrido, también guiado, con otra agencia por $80 USD en total para los cuatro.
En cuanto a las instalaciones, la habitación no cumplió del todo con nuestras expectativas. La puerta del baño no cerraba correctamente, la ventilación era limitada, y aunque el aire acondicionado funcionaba bien, la ubicación de la habitación no se especificaba claramente en la descripción. Estaba justo entre la sala común y el baño compartido, lo cual generó bastante ruido durante la noche, dificultando el descanso. Una noche, incluso alguien intentó abrir la puerta de nuestra habitación —suponemos que por error—, pero por suerte estaba cerrada con seguro. Además, nunca salió agua caliente durante nuestra estancia y los cables de la regadera estaban expuestos, lo cual nos pareció riesgoso.
También notamos que las fotos publicadas del lugar no reflejan con precisión las condiciones reales del alojamiento, lo que puede generar expectativas equivocadas. Además, la manta adicional que nos facilitaron tenía un olor a humedad, lo que afectó un poco nuestra comodidad.
Creemos que con algunos ajustes y una comunicación más clara, este alojamiento podría ofrecer una mejor experiencia a sus huéspedes.
The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was a decent size. There is free water.
The showers do not have hot water - we had no problems with this anywhere else on the Galápagos.
Breakfast is not included in the room rate. Given the price that a room costs, it doesn’t represent good value for money.
The location is far from ideal. It’s quite far away from the town centre (still walkable) and it can be loud at night and early in the mornings.
We felt the staff weren’t particularly friendly after we asked for help with the hot water (although they did switch us rooms but that didn’t help).
Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Stay comfortable. Rooms and bed linen were all clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

Our hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast in the morning. The power was out for a few hours in the afternoon but this was everywhere on the street. 10 minute walk to the malecon. Bed comfortable and we enjoyed our stay here.
The room was spacious and clean.
It was loud and the things provided were basic. There are a lot of rules to follow about the air conditioning, sand, and towels, which are hard considering it’s a hot place on the beach.
Sarah and Carlos were generous with their hospitality and were an absolute help during our stay - Sarah helped us arrange our snorkelling tour and Carlos prepared breakfast early knowing we were needing to leave earlier and then dropped us off at the tour provider. Thank you!
The room we stayed in was clean and spacious and so was the toilet. Wifi worked perfectly too. Whilst the location was not the closest to the main town area, it was not a far walk at all and actually was closer to Punta Carola!
One of the staff Sarah was very helpful snd friendly. My husband had a health problem and she helped us to find a doctor etc. She also showed us good restaurants in the town, places to visit...so we are grateful. The room was super clean and spacious. Drinking water was free and available.
Breakfast can be improved a bit. Tea/coffee service might be nice!
