Such beautiful grounds and an incredibly relaxing pool deck. Breakfast was outstanding. The location was great too. Close to Ponferrada but not too close and also Congosto is lovely.
If it had been warmer, less rainy, and less ash in the water, we would have really enjoyed the swimming pool. Those things are all in the hands of Mother Nature not the property or their owners of course.

La comida es excelente y el trato del personal genial. El spa es pequeñito pero muy interesante, tiene de todo lo que puedas querer y es muy cómodo. La finca está preciosa y la piscina exterior es enorme.
La habitación es algo pequeña y espartana.
Estuvimos alojados en un apartamento de dos dormitorios con un baño y salón con cocina, perfecto para familias. Todo perfecto, súper limpio y súper completo, la cocina equipada con todo lo que necesitas para cocinar y no depender de nadie, con lavadora y nevera súper nuevas. Las habitaciones y el salón equipadas con televisión y aire acondicionado individual también súper nuevos. Las camas maravillosas, colchones y almohadas cómodisimos con sábanas súper agradables. La habitación tenía acceso a una terraza que daba salida al jardín, muy cómodo para ir a la piscina. El hotel tiene parking propio y un jardín enorme con una piscina muy grande. También tiene restaurante en el cual cenamos con un menú muy rico y muy buena cocina (35€ Persona) y el desayuno también súper completo servido en mesa (14€ persona) con salado, dulce y fruta, café y zumo natural. El personal tanto del hotel como del restaurante súper agradables y simpáticos, encantadores. En general una gran experiencia y súper recomendable la estancia en el Hotel Vivaldi.
No pudimos disfrutar del Spa, lo tenían cerrado y al hacer la reserva aqui no ponía nada de que lunes y martes estuviera cerrado.
Había parte de las instalaciones del jardín que estaban bastante descuidadas como una pista de tenis y un campo de fútbol.
Las instalaciones del hotel, spa y finca en general son preciosas y muy bien cuidados. La piscina cuenta con varios porches con hamacas y cortinas de lino deliciosas. Estuvimos en un apartamento de cocina-office, dos habitaciones grandes con aire acondicionado, baño y una terraza que hizo nuestras tardes muy amenas y refrescantes.
Hotel muy pequeño y muy acogedor con un trato amabilísimo por parte del personal.
La única pega el aparcamiento es un poco pequeño, pero por otra parte es cerrado y está incluido en el precio.

Especially the meals were very good. The chef has Michelin capacity, which can be tasted!! Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Atmosphere was very pleasant. We certainly recommend Finca Vivaldi to all people looking for a relaxful couple of days. Although the facilty is close to the A6 highway, we did not hear any noise from it while in the lovey garden or relaxing next to the pool. Also the spa is worth a visit. Finca Vivaldi is certainly a top location!
Only point for improvement is the presence of algae in the swimming pool. We were visiting at the end of the season, so we were already glad that the weather was so nice that we wanted to use the pool.
Such a tranquil setting. Our room was ideal with a nice terrace outside. The staff were all super charming & went out of their way to try & help. The restaurant - simply outstanding. Our girls enjoyed playing by the pool which also had a lovely setting with plenty of beds & even free drinks on tap as needed.
Maybe an extra mirror in each of the bedrooms. Otherwise - no complaints.

Tea and coffee in the room
What a fabulous place! A small, exclusive boutique hotel in a huge, well-manicured garden with a large pool, a full-flegged spa, a tennis court and a great restaurant, run by a chef who worked in Michelin-starred restaurants around Europe and who baked us a cake when he heard it was our anniversary. The owners Laura and Carlos are the sweetest people, they did everything to make us feel at home, for them it is clearly a labor of love. We loved every minute of our stay.
