Eine Reise wert …
Pros:

Die Nähe zu Monets Haus & Garten. Museum. Man wandelt auf Monets Spuren.

Das freundliche Personal. Die Lage. Die Gestaltung des Hauses. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein, aber trotzdem war alles da. Der Platz wurde optimal genutzt.
Allerdings wäre mir das Zimmer bei einem längerem Aufenthalt zu klein. Für 2-3 Nächte ist es toll.
Das eigene Restaurant war toll.

Gerne auch mal in den Ort Vernon fahren.

Very pleasant. I would come again and recommend hotel to others.
Pros:

patio and garden were very quiet and spacious. Breakfast was very good. Parking was available on site without additional charge. Walking distance to Monet garden.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel avec des attentes bien plus élevées que ce que nous avons finalement trouvé.

Dès notre entrée dans la chambre, nous avons immédiatement ressenti une chaleur insupportable. Nous pensions qu’en ouvrant les fenêtres, la situation s’améliorerait, mais malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas. Nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre, en précisant également que celle qui nous avait été attribuée ne correspondait pas aux photos présentées lors de la réservation. Si j’avais vu cette chambre à l’avance, je n’aurais jamais payé 237 € par nuit pour y séjourner.

La réponse reçue a été stupéfiante : on nous a expliqué que la différence entre les photos et les chambres « arrive souvent sur Booking ». Une justification totalement inacceptable. On nous a également informés qu’il n’y avait plus de chambres disponibles et que, si cela ne nous convenait pas, nous pouvions tout simplement chercher un autre hébergement.

Ce qui nous a le plus choqués, c’est le manque total d’attention porté au client. Personne n’a même évoqué un geste commercial, comme une réduction ou un petit-déjeuner offert. Cela n’aurait certes pas résolu le problème, mais cela aurait au moins témoigné d’un minimum de considération.

Après environ deux heures et demie d’attente, l’établissement a finalement décidé de nous offrir la boisson que nous avions commandée auparavant, ce qui était le strict minimum au vu de l’attente. Une employée, la seule qui semblait réellement aimable, nous a alors annoncé avoir trouvé une solution : une bassine remplie de glace dans la chambre. Une solution que l’on peut difficilement qualifier autrement que de bricolage de dernière minute.

Après le dîner, on nous a indiqué que des ventilateurs avaient été installés. Résultat : pas moins de cinq ventilateurs dans la chambre, générant un bruit tel qu’il était pratiquement impossible de dormir.

Le seul point positif est la beauté du lieu ainsi que l’excellente qualité du restaurant.

Cons:

Zimmer zuoberst. Kleines Fenster. Keine Klimaanlage. Brutal heiss. Auch hier vermuten wir, dass booking.com Gäste ein weniger gutes Zummer erhalten.

Un hôtel idéal pour visiter Giverny
Pros:

Personnel très accueillant et poli. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et l’emplacement est idéal. Le parking est aussi un plus lorsque nous venons en voiture. Le restaurant est excellent. Le jardin est agréable et on peut bien en profiter.

Cons:

Je pense que le petit déjeuner est trop cher par rapport au choix de produits.

It made for a delightful day, away from the heaviest village traffic.
Pros:

Lovely grounds, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Just a note for awareness: from the shuttle, it is about an 15 minute walk I think.
