I'm surprised I wasn't aware of the flaws before I booked
Pros:

Location was very good
they did come to to change the towels every day

Cons:

Hotel didn't have any means of paying your bill with a bank card.
Wifi was terrible but that might have been just the China firewall
Bed was just a mattress on the floor
no chair to sit in, only place to sit was on the mattress on the floor
no close place to eat, you need to go up to the town on the hillside to find a restaurant

Pros:

We had a nice time here! A particular highlight was the staff at the front desk who was so helpful and lovely with us. He gave us 2 very excellent food recommendations that became our favourites in Chonqing, and he was generally just so kind and helpful. The rooms were also very nice and clean. Thank you!

La ubicación es muy buena para moverse por las principales atracciones de Chonqjing

Cons:

Pasé tres noches y sólo pude dormir una, las otras dos un grupo de jóvenes chinos que no atendían a razones no pararon de hacer ruido y gritar hasta las 3/4 de la mañana. No hay personal por la noche y el hotel se queda abierto, por lo que incluso escribí al hotel, no hicieron nada

Not pleasant considering the price paid
Pros:

The bed was comfortable; location was okay, close to train

Cons:

The room smells of cigarette smoke, toilet walls were dirty, staff was not professional (still sleeping at 9 am and not coming to see customers while they stand waiting at the counter)

The rooms were spacious with large, comfortable beds, which made the stay very relaxing. The hotel itself has its own style and charm, giving it a unique character compared to more standard options. Its location is excellent—very close to the town centre, making it easy to get around. I also appreciated the little coffee place just to the left of the hotel, which served really good coffee.

Cons:

The lady at the reception was not very friendly or communicative, which made the check-in experience less welcoming. The hotel also lacked certain services—there was no laundry service or breakfast available, which would have been convenient.

Guy was very rough with my passport on check in - I was worried he'd rip the passport page out. Everything else was fine, but for this reason, I'd be unsure about going back.

You get what you pay for
Pros:

It was a good location, near the metro and walking distance to the three gorges museum.

Cons:

There were a lot of dark stains on the mattress (it had a loose fitted sheet to cover it), the toilet was unstable, the shower was above the toilet which was very inconvenient. There was loud drilling from the early hours till late at night throughout our stay and we were given the room closest to this. Toilet roll was about half the size of a roll. Staff not particularly friendly or welcoming. No coffee or tea or breakfast offerings.
