Hôtel du Lion d'or

Attention, les horaires indiqués sur le site ne sont pas ceux de l'hotel (réception fermée à 19h le dimanche) Pas la bonne chambre à l'arrivée (sur rue et non sur cour et en entend la circulation). J'ai finalement été changé de chambre et c'est bien plus calme sur cour.
Le son de la TV est bloqué et on entend à peine.

Hôtel agréable et bien situé. Le personnel de l'accueil est attentionné et sympathique.

Easy walk from the train station. Elevator! Comfortable room and bed. The staff were super-friendly and accommodating. One of the receptionists changed my life by telling me how to get an inexpensive yeSim card so I’d have cellular service everywhere. (US travelers: Verizon service stinks in France.) Bonus: Discounts at some of the excellent nearby restaurants. On Saturdays the center of town, including the hotel, is inaccessible by car due to a lively street market.

Très bon accueil et hôtel agréable avec du cachet. Rue bruyante le samedi matin avec l’installation du marché mais nous étions au courant avant de réserver.
Balade nocturne dans les rues du centre de Bernay très agréable.

Déplacement familiale pour un baptême je ne connaissais pas la région belle découverte

Pas de prise de courant dans sdb , ni chambre face à un miroir .. dommage ..
une dosette de café .. un peu radin sur les bords …

Hôtel bien situé, confort et service convenables, petit déjeuner correct

Personnelles très agréables tres souriant .reception agréable et propre .la chambre rénovée récemment avec une très bonne literie petite salle de douche petit bémol les joints de douche pas tres propre . Une bouilloire dans la chambre avec du cafe the et petit gateau sont a disposition. La salle a petit déjeuner tres agréable avec des produits frais et avec un choix correct finalement un bon sejour

Great location. Excellent modern shower.

When we arrived, tired after a long trip, the heating in our room didn’t work and it was bitterly cold outside. The person on the reception desk allocated us another room and brought in an extra plug-in heater so that saved the day. Our room was pleasantly furnished, freshly decorated, had some terribly trite memes framed on the wall and there wasn’t really much space to store belongings for a longer stay. It is beautifully situated in the heart of Bernay though so comes recommended as a budget hotel with friendly, helpful staff. I’d certainly stay here again.

Un hôtel indépendant comme on les aime. Personnel aux petits soins, chambre spacieuse et en parfait état, parking privatif gratuit, et restaurants à 2mn à pied

De receptioniste was geweldig, de ligging perfect in het centrum

Clean comfortable bed. Nice hot shower. Elevator to 3rd floor. Very accommodating staff. However coming back at night is a little disconcerting since everything is dark. People in another room screaming so difficult to sleep. Breakfast was perfect. Location was perfect. Carpet not so clean but otherwise room was very nice.

For what we paid the stay was fine. Location is great, right in the middle of the town with parking and we met a very nice lady who checked us in.
The room was adequate, nothing fancy - shower was good but everything was old and in many cases needed a really good clean. The sheets and bed were fine and we had a decent nights sleep after a good meal and a couple of drinks in the town. I didn’t expect much else for the price we paid and we booked last minute and had little choice.
