Great little hotel, we're planning our next holiday there, Our room was beautiful and the staff were all fantastic (especially Liam at the front desk) The hotel is walking distance to views of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph.
L’emplacement, le personnel…
The location worked well for our needs. The staff heard our concerns and assisted us with room changes.
The first room we were given didn’t match what we reserved! The bed was not a king and all the walls were practically touching the bed. The room we reserved on booking matched their own hotel room websites photos and descriptions yet this was not the room given to us. The room they put us in eventually had AC issues which became a huge problem for my newborn during a major heat wave and required us to move rooms again. They could see on their computers that the room was set to 19 but the actual temp was nearly 30 yet they waited for us to complain! The shower had someone else’s hair in it. One night a housekeeper walked in without knocking or ringing. I travel with a dog who would have barked at either noise. The housekeeper proceeded to stand in the doorway offering me chocolates while I was topless breastfeeding my child and yelling at her to get out! We called the front desk for a taxi and stated that we were headed down now and needed to make an appointment at the embassy. When we arrived downstairs the taxi was never ordered and the excuse was that the man who spoke English to us the day before no longer understands English (My husband speaks fluent French). We also asked the head of the housekeepers to organize our room cleaning while the baby and dog were with us getting breakfast. They said they would do it right away. We ended up getting back to the room sometime in the late afternoon and the room still wasn’t cleaned, causing me to breastfeed my baby in the lobby while they rushed to clean the room.
