Can’t really say I didn’t particularly like a certain thing about the property, but what I would say is the hotel could do with better internet as TV kept freezing. The other thing is whilst the food was lovely the portion sizes appeared massive ( maybe not really a negative issue for some! 😊
It was old and characterful. Squeaky floor boards and slanting floors. They really don’t make them like this anymore. Give me one of these places over a modern facility anytime. Lovely bar with a great choice of beers, served by lovely staff.

It was a great stay if I had to pick one thing that I felt like it needed something extra would be the WiFi. Speeds weren't great for our stay but good food and company who needs WiFi really
I liked that it was so close to harry potter studios and the fact it was very oldy worldy.
The shower was cool... the radiator in our bedroom didn't work so it felt cool over night and there was coffee and tea etc but no kettle. Although this was rectified when asked for one in the morning.

The heating didn't work, it was a bit cold in the evening. But we stayed just one night, so we didn't complained about it.

Minor thing but bath had no plug, wasn’t an issue I felt the need to raise because I just had a shower instead, but I do like a bath but to emphasise this had no impact on my stay at all

Lovely old building, ideally located. Only a 6 minute drive to Harry Potter studios
Typiquement anglais avec beaucoup de charme. Le personnel est au petit soin et vraiment très gentil. La cuisine est délicieuse. Chambre bien insonorisée on entend pas le pub en dessous. On y dort très bien. C est à 5 min en voiture des Studios Harry Potter.
