It’s such a shame that there aren’t any facilities but a charming room.
Pros:

Lovely traditional property with lots of character

Cons:

Room too hot and windows didn’t open fully
Zero facilities. No cafe/ bar or restaurant on site. Parking a great bonus. We had no interaction with any staff apart from check in which is across the road.

Open Toilet Was a Dealbreaker, Otherwise 10/10
Pros:

A beautiful, spotlessly clean room with elegant vintage décor that felt regal and luxurious. The free parking right on the doorstep was incredibly convenient, especially with luggage, and the reception staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming and helpful.

We really appreciated the thoughtful little touches, including the coffee machine with capsules, biscuits, milk and the lovely welcome tray on the bed. The welcome pack was particularly impressive, with recommendations for nearby restaurants and even discount codes, which was a fantastic touch! There was also a wonderful variety of places to eat within easy walking distance.

So much attention to detail and genuine hospitality. Everything about the hotel felt welcoming and beautifully presented.

Cons:

My only criticism, but unfortunately quite a significant one, was the completely open bathroom. Whilst I could perhaps overlook the lack of privacy when showering, having an open toilet within the bedroom is something I found extremely uncomfortable. Privacy and hygiene are important, particularly in a space where guests are also relaxing, eating and drinking.

I really wish this layout had been clearly highlighted on Booking.com, as it would genuinely have been a deciding factor when making our reservation.

It's a real shame because the property deserves 10/10 in every other respect, but the lack of privacy around the toilet would unfortunately prevent me from choosing this particular room again.

We had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the stay and was comfortable in the room.
Pros:

Location was good for what we was there for.
Room was clean and modern.
Bed was comfortable.
Shower was lovely.
Facilities was great.
Fan in the room was a bonus.

We had a wonderful time and will certainly be staying again.

Cons:

We was ground floor room with window opposite the church and on a saturday night people can be quite loud.
We could also hear upstairs toilet flush everytime.

Pretty and safe but would not stay again
Pros:

Pretty, safe, good fixtures

Cons:

WiFi repeatedly not working. Error message said router needed restarting. Could not use for work. Advice to restart devices didn’t help.

EV charging wasn’t working as Blink no longer connected. They said not used in 3 months so they weren’t maintaining it. Blink didn’t reconnect or update over 3 night stay. EV charging should be removed from hotel listing.

Noisy in room fuse boxes, plumbing and outside plumbing noises all night disturbed sleep.

Great stay
