George and Dragon is a 300-year-old, Grade-II-listed building located in the centre of Aysgarth within Yorkshire Dales National Park. The hotel offers a bar and restaurant.

Each room at this 17th-century coaching inn has traditional design, a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee-making facilities.

You can relax by a log fire in the winter months and there is also a patio with views of Pen Hill. The bar serves a selection of local ales and fine wines.

You can go walking around the surrounding Yorkshire Dales countryside and explore the Wensleydale region. Aysgarth is known for its lovely waterfalls.

The charming market towns of Kendal and Sedburgh can be reached in around an hour by car.
