A nice picturesque rural hotel.
Pros:

The room was very airy and spacey with all mod cons. Dinner and Breakfast had a good choice of food and was well cooked. Although sited at the edge of Gretna, the property had a nice rural feeling and was well kept - with a nice courtyard.

Cons:

I requested a downstairs twin bed room, but for some reason none were available.

Hotel lovely decorated, nice homely feel, ornaments etc were what my grandparents would have had, and it brought back lovely memories. Really nice spacious bedroom.

This was our second stay at the hotel and will not be the last I hope.
Pros:

Very close to the motorway, lovely old building featuring pictures of day gone by.
Preet who looked after us in the bar where the evening meal was served couldn’t help enough with our requests. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and again was to a high standard.
