This is a lovely place to stay. The staff, particularly Jo and Jennifer were lovely to deal with from start to finish.
We stayed during a heatwave. Our superior rooms were lovely and given the heat and the fans provided we got away either a reasonable nights sleep. Go for the next level up if you want air con. We will next time!
Exceptionally well appointed rooms some have air conditioning which was a big bonus in heat wave weather, all the room facilities were great staff very helpful and friendly and has a great restaurant
The only thing that could have been better is breakfast is definitely pre cooked and was quite dry
Lovely location. Staff excellent. Nice touches such as reserved parking with name on it and box of fudge, fresh milk and water in the fridge. Great breakfast. X

Food was good, especially the Sunday roast which we had. Well presented, well cooked and tasty.
Service at breakfast was a little slow and we had to ask again for missing items which we had previously asked for.
The details for the operation of the velux windows, blinds, TV and air conditioning were in a folder which we did not find for some time as it was in a drawer. Better if left visible on the table so that occupiers can see there is information about the room, its facilities and equipment.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was spacious with nice toiletries and plenty of hot water. The evening meal portion size was perfect and the complimentary drink much appreciated.
The room was lovely, with a skylight. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The milk in a jugé was a nice touch. I can't give 10 as for me, a room without a view outside is like being in a box - however luxurious. I couldn't have stayed more than a couple of nights.

Beautiful setting in a wonderful little village that has everything you need within walking distance. The hotel itself is so lovely with lot's of unique aspects, the food was delicious and the staff were exceptional 10/10 will definitely be visiting again
