Sam front of house who served me for breakfast in the morning was amazing, stay fine, everything fine.
The room was very clean and very comfortable, its a great place to stay for the solo traveller, I stay here because I visit family in Rodley which is walkable form here.
Its not the quietest of places to stay, the rooms are very warm and the floors are very creaky, the main road is quite noisy too as the rooms are not very sound proof, but its a charming place in a lovely setting and I personally love it.
It was very good. But we stay there really just for a night since we got a plain to catch and we came in the evening. But overall it was worth it. Staff was extremely polite and helpful.
This is not meant as a problem, but in our family room, the couch we a bit old to sleep on so we decided to put our matress on the floor and it was okay:) But honestly, I think this is a problem for nearly every hotels and accomodation, some parts get older or broken, but that shouldn't get your nerve. If you wanna perfect conditions, book a 5* hotel :D
Lovely friendly and cosy pub with lovely rooms. Very clean and nicely decorated bedroom and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly. Food was great
Food took a while to come out but otherwise fine
Tv didn't work was asked to change rooms ,but the room we were shown was musty and smelt stale ,so we stayed in our original room, the next morning whilst showering the shower head fell off on my head
