Good location with good food
Service at breakfast was too slow .
Lovely area but ants on table at breakfast and room unbearably hot
Location was quiet but in a good area not far from Weymouth or Lulworth Cove. Only stayed the one night and didnt eat at the pub but the room was clean and comfortable and had a nice shower and tea making facilities. There was also a fan in the room to help cope with the hot weather. They provided water free of charge.
Everything was fine for a short stay
Excellent pub it was a great place to stay for a long weekend break, the owner and staff where brilliant really friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities you would need, the breakfast had a very good choice and freshly cooked each morning. The food was that good we had our evening meals there every night we stayed, the Sunday carvery was excellent.would highly recommend many thanks Stuart and lettie.
There was nothing wrong with the stay it was brilliant.
Lovely staff in a great pub located in a quiet Dorset village. In no particular order, great beer, lovely breakfast, super comfortable bed in a spacious and airy room. I was grateful for the electric fans to move the air on a warm night, and the thoughtful option of a sheet instead of a duvet if required. I shall look forward to another visit.
I can't think of anything
The food was good, when it eventually arrived.
The room was clean, comfortable and plenty of room for a short stay.
The staff were brilliant.
We asked for a quiet room, but were given one which window looked out onto the street, which we had to have open because it was so warm.
The length of time it took us to be served, both with the evening meal, 40 minutes, and again at breakfast, having to wait another 40 minutes, even though there were only three others.
Clean, full of flowers, well maintained.
