We enjoyed our stay at the Pipers Tryst very much. Everything was perfect.
Pros:

Had a fantastic stay! The welcome whiskey was such a nice touch, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The room was lovely and super comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better. What really made it though was the incredibly friendly staff — they made us feel right at home. Would 100% come back!

Competitively priced, convenient and well run.
Pros:

We'd been staying at Best Westerns for three nights and whilst the breakfast buffets there are very good we found the breakfast at The Piper's Tryst a cut above, freshly cooked and served to your table. The decor is characterful and adds to the traditional feel of a hotel with just the eight rooms but all the service you would expect from a professionally run accommodation service. Yet this is a new enterprise so they have gotten up and running to a high standard quite capably. Add in the location at the top of Hope Street and you are just minutes away from The Royal Concert Hall, theatres, other music venues, restaurants, shops and bars.

Cons:

Nothing that we didn't like but bear in mind that there are roadworks in Cowcaddens at the moment and also the reception is not twenty four hours (but you have a key to the side door for all hours access.)

Great place to be for a few days to explore city of Glasgow
Pros:

Cozy little hotel next to the National Piping Centre, which is a music school from which you can hear the occasional bag pipe. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and cooked while you wait. The restaurant in the hotel is also good, and renowned in the area.

Cons:

Nothing

One of my favourite places to stay in Glasgow!
Pros:

The staff are all helpful, kind and friendly.
Breakfasts are great.
The spotlights in the room.
I like Room 3. It will be brilliant when the roadworks are completed.

Cons:

Would have preferred a modern walk-in shower.
The window curtain needs some attention.
The room could have been slightly warmer - or maybe I didn’t see the heating controls!
Would have really liked coffee/tea making facilities - this is major!
I need to remember to book ahead for dinner.
