Really nice.
Pros:

Neat place with helpful, nice staff. Comfortable, quiet room.

Cons:

The construction on the street was a little dusty but it was for the addition of a bicycle lane, hard to get upset.

Pues que la foto de Internet del hotel está trucada. No es la del hotel. Es la del CENTRO NACIONAL de Gaita.
Por otra parte no es un hotel de 4 estrellas. Es el equivalente a un hostal en España.

It was a great stay!
Pros:

It was a convenient stay in Glasgow City Centre. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were offered help to bring all of our luggage to our room which was so nice. The breakfasts served was delicious and the two drams of whisky given at check-in was a plus!

I THINK I NEED TO REPORT THIS HOTEL TO THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES. FIRST TIME AT THIS HOTEL COMING IN THROUGH THE BAR YOU HAD TO CHECK IN THERE ASKED ME WHEN I WANTED DINNER AS THEY HAD TO HAVE A TIME AS THEY ARE REALLY BUSY. I HADN'T REALISED IT WAS STAIRS ROOM 8 WAS AT THE VERY TOP NO LIFT AS MY ANKLE IS IN A BAD WAY I ASKED IF I COULD GET HELP WITH MY BAGS. BUT BEFORE ASKED IF THERE WAS ANOTHER ROOM LOWER. NONE, I CAME DOWN THERE WAS ONLY ME IN FOR DINNER ONLY
AFTER WENT UP TO MY ROOM SO THAT WAS 3 TIMES USING THEM. ROUGHLY 2 IN THE MORNING WAS WAKENED TO THE FIRE ALARM IT WASN'T GOING BE OFF THINKING IT WAS A FALSE ALARM JUST PUT SOME THING LIGHT ON TO WEAR . TWO HOURS OUTSIDE HAVING TO STAND NO SEATS NOTHING TO INDICATE IF THERE WAS A FIRE 3 FIREBRAEGRADES ATTENDED BUT THEY COULDN'T GET IN THE PREMISES THERE WAS NOBODY MANNED DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. LUCKY ONE OF THE RESIDENTS KEPT ON UNLOCKING THE DOOR FOR THEM NOT ONLY WAS I NOT WELL TRYING TO GET DOWN THE STAIRS FAST THE LADY AND HER DAUGHTER ACROSS THE ROOM SHE WAS 8 AND HAS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AFTER AN HOUR THE SECURITY GUARD CAME BUT HE NEVER HAD THE KEY AND BORROWED ONE TO GET IN NEARLY AN HOUR LATER THE OWNER CAME. I SAID AM EXPECTING MY BREAKFAST IN THE ROOM AS TIRED SHE PUSHED A NOTE UNDER THE DOOR JUST MORE OR LESS THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE IT WAS BUSINESS AS USUAL STILL WANTING US OUT EARLY. STANDING CHILLED TO THE BONE THEN NEVER GOT TO SLEEP YOU COULD STILL SMELL BURNING I WAS FRIGHTENED AS NOWHERE TO GO AT THAT TIME AND APPARENTLY IT WAS THE ELECTRICAL FUSE THAT WENT ON FIRE AND THAT IS DOWN ONE FLIGHT OF STAIRS FORM THE TOP FLOOR. THEY TOOK UP BREAKFAST BUT I COULDN'T RELAX OR EAT IT.
APPARENTLY THERE IS NO STAFF AND THIS IS AN OBVIOUS DISADVANTAGE ON ITS OWN MY ANKLE IS WORSE FOR STANDING SO LONG

I DON'T LIKE THAT I HAVE TO FEEL BAD ABOUT REPORTING THIS BUT YOU CAN'T HAVE NO RECEPTION AND WITH THE BIG FIRES THAT HAS BEEN IN GLASGOW ITS MORE FRIGHTENING THAN EVER NOBODY SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT.
