From arriving to the moment we left the service was amazing. A concierge service showed us around the hotel and what they had to offer. And the room we stayed it was great
Absolutely nothing
Location is great and the decor is very nice.
Staff are friendly.
Food and drink in the Lakes Terrace are good and the atmosphere is relaxing and sumptuous.
Cosy double room with hot tub has lovely views.
Lack of information on arrival regarding sizing of robes.
My husband's was very snug and it wasn't until we saw other guests wearing a different colour that we realised there were different sizes available,we asked at reception twice before it was received.
Disappointed at breakfast that tea or coffee wasn't offered when shown to the table, this is something I have experienced at other 5 star hotels and is a welcoming gesture.
Also no offer of other breakfast options if required.
I overheard a guest asking and tried myself which was granted but again should have been offered on our first morning.
Lack of choice of pillows, again something important for a good night's sleep.
Finally my husband and I feel the daily parking fee seems unfair as there are no alternative parking close to the hotel.
Very nice and spa cool
Nothing
Great location, rooms were spotless an even got a free upgrade to the penthouse!
The property was exceptional, I really enjoyed my time there. It won’t be long until I next return and that’s for sure!
Nothing
Privacy of hot tub on balcony; service of Mark the concierge
Sat nav directed towards service entrance making it confusing on arrival
Everything, staff nice, hotel room spectacular clean, upgraded too hot tub room, been 2x now and I love the place recommend too anyone.
Nothing, everything was so nice & relaxing.
Every member of staff we spoke to, even walked past, were all exceptionally friendly. Couldn’t do enough for us and made sure our stay was comfortable and easy. The whole of the hotel was spotless and efficient. Lots of information available about the facilities and those on offer were great.
We loved the idea of room service but the £10 per tray charge felt a little much, especially if just ordering a couple of drinks at a time. I understand the reason for the charge, but a smaller charge may have tempted us to use it. The £15 per person breakfast felt steep too, I’m not a big breakfast person and also a fussy eater so I wouldn’t have ate enough to make this worth it.
We had a hot tub room, the balcony glass was quite dirty. This kind of ruined the view, even in the evening as this was the only thing we were really looking at. We did notice the window cleaners were around as we were leaving so maybe we were just a little unlucky with timing on that one.
