Very clean cosy and had a warm ambiance as soon as we were greeted at the entrance
There’s nothing not to like
Lovely room & very comfortable.
I have stated here a few times. The light above the bed was lovely but thick dust.
Unfortunately my car was bumped in the car park. Have reported it.
Great location and facilities
If you stay more than one night the rooms don't get cleaned properly.
Staff not very helpful we had 2 rooms but had to all stay in the 1 room because the toilet was overflowing in the main hotel no apology they just said they'd look at it so I payed for 2 rooms but could only use 1
Everything
My room had some waste behind the bin from the previous guest and there was bits from the last guest in the spa bucket bag
i liked how clean everything was and how cozy it felt
nothing to complain about
I was with my partner who is originally from another country and the bar staff on the terrace one man in particular was absolutly disgraceful. I have personally never seen racism like it. I was disgusted. In general it was ok. The spa was not as I would expect for the money. But the fact nothing really was done or recognised on check out with the disgusting attitude of this certain member of staff which I did alert them of on the evening it kind of seemed to me like this was the norm for them.
Staff in the terrace bar. Horrible, racist and just outright rude.
Great location.
Spa very basic and rather noisy when having treatment
The staff were excellent, and the location was superb.
The bedding did not meet the hotel's star rating.
Amazing Stay, Hotel was beautiful, clean, Staff were fantastic and Welcoming. Loved the room with the Hot Tub on the Balcony. Spa was lovely, with Bar. Food was fab. Would highly recommend!!
Location was great and within walking distance to the town
Room was very clean and had some lovely touches like a chocolate, Kendal mint cakes, tea, coffee and Elemis products
The hot tub on the balcony was great
Bed was comfy
Very nice welcome and the staff greeting you by your name as you entered the car park was a nice touch along with the glass of Prosecco
The terrace was perfect with a chilled atmosphere
Food at Mizumi restaurant was delicious
The spa was nice and had multiple jacuzzis, a sauna and a steam room as well as a pool
The £12 per night parking charge is extortionate at an already very expensive hotel and IMO isn’t clearly set out on booking.com
Surprised there is no gym on site
Being told at breakfast by one of the staff that we couldn’t have a bowl for our cereal because they had run out and were not going to get any more out even though it was only 9:15 (breakfast finished at 10) was rude and very unhelpful
No air con and it was the hottest weekend of the year so far
Walls are very thin and you can hear everything through the walls
The location
Small point but paying for parking whilst paying such a high nightly rate feels unsuitable for a hotel like this
It was a beautiful place with a lovely view of the lake but not too close to the busy lake side
The walls in the room weren’t really sound proof, we heard noise from the adjacent room.
Rooms and spa
Unfriendly unhelpful staff in the hotel apart from two receptionist s and the lovely gate man
Spa and rooms were great, the hotel is beautiful
It’s far too warm. No AC. Was given a room and got told their was a fan in the cupboard “as it will get hot”
We got back from a day out to the warm room and we had to ask to swap, they did give us another room with balcony doors but we still needed to use the fan. It’s a shame because it’s the only only only negative
