Our room was nice & spacious & had everything we needed. The decor is beautiful. Staff are soo lovely. Spa is really good. Good location.

Cons:

Shower had some black mould in corners & the top of headboard was dusty. Although bed was really comfy.
Don’t think there should be a £12 per night charge for car. Haven’t really got a choice as where else would you park. Stayed at many spa hotels & never had to pay parking. One recently being the Beech hill spa which I know is same owner as the Lakes Spa & it was lovely & no parking fee.

For what I paid, I should’ve paid half the price

Cons:

This hotel represents a spa, when you come out of the spa there is no way for you to put your swimsuit no bags at all no dryer at all to maybe rinse a swimsuit. Came out with ringing wet swimsuits, I think I’ve been too much better spas.

We also had exterior rooms outside and the sofas were very uncomfortable quite smelly and the mattress to the bed very uncomfortable. You could see there was a dip coffee facilities could be much better as well.

Excellent place to stay for a properly relaxing break.
Pros:

Lovely hotel, great staff, nice room, hot tub was an absolute gift after climbing the Old Man at Coniston. Mizumi was very nice with excellent food. Breakfast were also very good indeed.

Cons:

Only dislike was the hot water in the room, took a very long time to heat up once running.

Very nice place but too expensive for the facilities provided.
Pros:

Brilliantly located,, great spa and pub.. the hotel in its entirety was lovely. The staff also were lovely, fantastic breakfast.

Cons:

The shower dripped constantly and turned itself off when you were in it. There was a bad smell of drains in my room. The room door didn’t shut without banging it very hard, there was mould in the shower, the kettle provided boiled over and spilled water over the desk every time. The internet kept dropping out.

Lovely place nice room and spa

Perfect Weekend
Pros:

Amazing staff, lovely location and excellent facilities. Truly feels like luxury. We first came here the weekend after our wedding and have since been back for my wife's birthday. We would absolutely love to come again.
