The breakfast was sufficient.
We got an upgraded room which had previous occupants contents in the room I.e birthday banner, stains on carpet and chairs. Too overlooked in hot tub area, not very private, noise from upstairs hot tub all night, traffic light noise and light pollution from headlights from main road. Reception staff not very accommodating when we inquired about changing room due to these concerns. It was a special occasion my partners birthday which was ruined. We had previous stayed at the hotel which is reason why returned, we felt that the upgrade was more of a downgrade.
The location , the restaurant and the friendly staff.
Our room no 11 in the annex was very small and dark nothing like advertised. The bathroom was very small you couldn’t open the door if someone was standing at the sink. Nowhere to put your toiletries. The spa changing room was dirty. We spoke to the duty manager who handled our complaint very professionally and immediately reduced our bill. It felt like he was a complaint that he had heard before. If you book make sure you are in the main house not one of the annex with direct access to the Spa.
Excellent from location facility and hotel services. The terrace bar has the nice view of the lake and delicious food. The Spa is open to customers, and it looks mysterious. The cluster house provided perfect choice for the family with kids. we had the best sleep in the trip.
Privacy concerns as the room door is facing the car parking. the coutains need to keep closed, which makes us don’t want to stay in the room.
Such a beautiful relaxing calming vibe The hotel is a couple of minutes from the lake allowing us to venture out have a few drinks and food whilst being close to the hotel The spa is beautiful so relaxing really clean and well looked after and so peaceful

The bentley was a nice touch.
Room was small, and windows didn't open much. Bad nights sleep, no ac.
Hotel was lovely, the prosecco on arrival was a really nice extra and we had a suite upgrade for my husbands birthday which made our stay extra special! The happy birthday note on the mirror again just made that extra effort which we really appreciated - also the staff was all lovely.

The location, the view, the good, the spa and hot in on balcony.
Self service breakfast - not what you usually get in a 5 star. No coffee maker in room only kettle. No designated walk way to spa - had to go through car park.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and it’s always a very clean place to stay, all staff members are welcoming and friendly. The food out of the restaurant on site it’s reasonably priced for such good food and service. I will definitely be going to stay again
