Pros:

Room was a great size and very comfortable
Staff were super helpful and friendly
Food was delicious we had evening meal and breakfast
It felt like the best hotel we could have picked

Cons:

Would have preferred some local cask ales but what was on was good quality.
You have to be patient getting a parking spot nearby.

Not worth the price, don't expect much.
Pros:

the evening meal was expensive but a few dishes were not up to par, and the wine was not chilled, it was warm. The breakfast was nice and the rooms were nice but the dormer window kept us awake with the light and the rain causing noise. The beds were not that comfy. It was clean but it didn't feel worth the extra money in the cost, that I would have expected more spa like conditions for that price. The small touches were not there and the staff rudely interrogated me on what I paid and when, and asked me to produce my receipt of payment on checkout saying that the computer claimed I owed them more (£110) than what I paid. I was extremely insulted and offended.

Great location, good price
Pros:

The staff at the pub were great. The location so close to the gorge and Cave Dale was good since our parking was then taken care of.

Cons:

The walls were very thin, I could hear the next room talking and laughing at 4am. I understand this is a tough problem to fix, so if the staff could offer ear plugs that would have been reasonable workaround to me.
