Everything really good
Nothing
Friendly and professional staff
Pillows very hard, may wish to consider different pillows like Travelodge etc
Always had a good stay at the castle, been lots of time's. It's just got better with the little refurbishment, the staff the food.
The only thing is the lighting in the rooms. Needs to be brighter, only for the ladies, hair makeup.
The Castle was absolutely fantastic and exactly what we were looking for when we imagined a lovely inn to spend the Christmas holidays. My room was wonderful--large, comfortable, warm, and clean. It even had a separate / private entrance that led to the back garden area and through a little wooden gate down to the high street. What made The Castle so brilliant, however, was the staff. Every single person we spoke with, or asked for assistance, or just generally interacted with was immensely kind, caring, knowledgeable, and so eager to provide the best experience for us. Can not thank all of you enough. My father and I had the best time and will surely be back.
Nothing, it was all wonderful.
At the time of us staying, the pub was closing for a refurb. The staff were very courteous and pleasant. Our room was lovely and quiet, just how we like it. Food was lovely and desserts even better.
The only thing I would change, but TBF I didn't request one, I would've liked a bath instead of a shower. But that's me just finding anything to put in this box.
Good location
Good room
Nothing
I liked absolutely nothing about this hotel because I didn’t manage to stay there as my booking was cancelled on the day I was due to arrive.
In the middle.of.town, clean and the staff were very helpful
Food running out for certain dishea in the pub for dinner for a booking at 7pm.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location is super and lounge areas were lovely and cosy with log fires and candlelight!
Breakfast was amazing!
Very doggy friendly just perfect thank you!
Menu selection was good, but could have been a Little more choice.
Would be nice to have a choice of cereal .
Good location and staff were polite and professional.
Paid quite abit for the room, more than I have previously in Castleton to be told that it didn't include breakfast so had to pay extra. Also car park was full when arriving so had to park elsewhere and pay for that. If your booked in to stay at the Castle Inn then you should be able to park your car.
Staff, Location & breakfast were the highlights of our stay.
The fold out bed bruised my granddaughter. It had metal tabs sticking out at the sides.
Close to the venue
Too expensive for what you need
