The location was great, food was amazing, staff were nice and the room was comfortable. Also loved having a bath in the room after a days hiking.
The only potential issue during peak season might be the size of the car park but not a reflection really on the hotel itself
A lovely place to stay and the staff went above and beyond to make it such a good evening.
Very nicely presented and clean. Lovely position in the middle of Castleton
Room was a bit noisy being positioned at street level and facing onto the main road
Food not brilliant
Lovely traditional pub with modern rooms. Great location and great food
No complaints, though the wifi could be improved
Lovely pub room was large clean and comfortable free parking good breakfast
All good on the whole we had an evening meal and the service wasn't great
We had an issue when we arrived and Richard from Wolverhampton, dealt with it very well.
Location is great - that’s it!.
The staff were very rude to me when I went to check in, another person overheard and said the staff here are awful .
The room was full of cobwebs and dust, very basic room. Beds were really uncomfortable. We had a family room, the sofa bed was like sleeping on the floor .
Locanda ben immersa nel contesto inglese, consigliata per pulizia, posizione e tutto insomma!
Great room
Helpful staff
Food was luke warm
Location, room, staff
We have stayed over many years
Love the location. The breakfasts very good. The hotel is well decorated and warm. The staff very friendly.
We have stayed in many of the rooms which are generally large but none of them have a small 1 - 2 comfy chairs to relax and read a book enjoy a hot drink after a walk in the glorious countryside
The bed is not what you want to sit on. A case stand would also help as there is little clothes storage and it would provide easy access to clothes
The staff were really friendly, check-in was easy and I felt really welcomed, plus they were really helpful where I had requests around luggage.
The pub and rooms all felt really warm and cosy and the bed was very comfortable.
There wasn't anything I didn't really like. The hallway and room door looked a little tired but the pub and room itself were nice and not in the same condition.
Very hoid
Comfy rooms, good breakfast and evening meal.
Cozy welcome pub in beautiful surroundings.
We were in a ground floor room and the room above had really squeaky floorboards apart from that there were no complaints.
Kitchen and bar staff were lovely and friendly
On arrival, the person who checked us in was not very friendly and everything was an effort and an inconvience for him
