The bar area and close to where we were.
Room was nice and cool even though it was very hot outside. accommodation is side building 10m from Pub/restaurant. Kettle/Tea/coffee available in room. USB point for phone charging. Room was very clean and fresh. Plenty of free parking close to rooms.
Thought price was too high for hotel level.
Door closing noise - didn't affect me, as had room furthest away from entrance, The fire doors in the main corridor banged loudly when closing. Would recommend rooms 4, 5, 6, 7 on ground floor.
Friendly, welcoming, comfortable and ideal for our stay on the way to Ambleside
Can’t say I disliked anything!
The Foxglove was ideally placed for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The reception was easy and friendly the room was perfect and the evening meal and wine was great. Great breakfast choices too. An exceptional stay.
Coffee was basic and ran out!
The manager on duty was wonderful, she was engaging and looked after us well

Grote, rustige slaapkamer met uitstekende matrassen. Prima parkeergelegenheid op het terrein. Het restaurantgedeelte was sfeervol. Ruime menukeuze. Prima eten.

We arrived at10 pm to be told the room was cancelled and we didn’t have anywhere else to go we tried to call the number as it said we will be given accommodation and there was no one to speak to , I expect a full refund
Our room was cancelled due to plumbing and nothing else was offered to us at 10 pm we didn’t find new accommodation untill 11 15 pm , very disappointing

Location was good for attending a family wedding
I asked for an accessible room which was no different to any of the other rooms we have stayed in at The Foxglove apart from we our room was closet to the entrance, would have liked a wet room as my husband following a stroke could not use the shower and no aids to help him off the toilet and there was only 1 disabled parking near by and a car was in it with no blue badge, but we were told to take up two parking spaces which helped
