Pros:

We had a fantastic stay, room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Check in was tricky as we were at a wedding. We couldn't check in before the wedding and then the staff advised us we had to be home by 9pm to check in. We negotiated to 10pm which was much better. Be mindful of this when you're booking.

Stay was cosy with scope for improvement. Bar closing early in the evening was a definite negative.
Pros:

Excellent cleaning staff and breakfast experience.

Cons:

Difficult to get upstairs with the luggage.

Pros:

The premises inside was very spacious, with good seating and play area outside . Staff were all very attentive and friendly. We had 3 meals ,breakfast included in our booking was excellent, with fresh products. Lunchtime was our main meal of the day (6 people ) Again fresh products, good sized portions . Evening meal for 2 ,we had a variety of starters and side dishes, again excellent. Service from the staff was prompt and very welcoming .

Cons:

Nothing to do with our visit , but I had a flat tyre in the morning 🙃🤣

Perfect for a one night stay.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good parking. Bar/restaurant area comfortable. Good ambience. Food plentiful but proper cooked chips would have been better.

Cons:

Rooms could do with a refurb/refresh. Although small had everything needed. Old building so creaky floorboards but beds comfortable enough.

Great pub, basic, small, featureless room
Pros:

The pub is stunning, the service is excellent and friendly and the food is great. Every member of staff is really attentive and a credit to the pub. I cannot recommend a visit to the pub more highly, it’s a lovely experience.
Check in was friendly and efficient.

Cons:

Whilst the pub and restaurant is 10/10, the rooms are so disappointing. Tired decor, pealing wallpaper, small grey rooms, no wardrobe, inconsistent Wi-Fi, and incredibly creaky floorboards in the hallways and rooms. You hear every move from other guests.
It’s 5/10 at best. Rooms are clean however, and the breakfast and service in the restaurant was excellent, as expected. Such a shame the rooms are miles away from the brilliant pub and restaurant.
