Pros:

The staff were super friendly and helpful. We ate in the pub and the food was delicious - the prawn cocktail was amazing. I had the best night sleep in ages, the bed was so comfy.

Cons:

There was no mobile phone connection but there is free WIFi so managed.

Quaint inn which was OK for a one-night stay
Pros:

The location was OK for us as somewhere to stay when Cheltenham was booked up for Races week. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed having a drink in the bar in the evening.

Cons:

The radiators (and hence the room) were cold apart from a strip at the bottom and bubbled extremely noisily from time to time. The room was poorly lit with only bedside lights. Breakfast was a mixed experience.

Amazing pub and restaurant but awful hotel
Pros:

We stayed for the weekend, right next to the Roman villa, so it was easy to walk. We give the restaurant and chefs 5 stars, everything was top notch – quality food , large portions, very tasty.

Cons:

We give the hotel and maids 0 stars – the hotel itself is in terrible condition, there is mold in the showers, there is no soundproofing, and the noise from the hallway and the neighbors upstairs to the right makes you feel like you're all living together, like in a dorm. The water leaking into the radiators at night sounds like a tractor engine, making it impossible to sleep. Room 10, called "Bibury," awful experience. We definitely don't recommend this hotel, but the restaurant and bar deserve every praise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and would definitely return in the future.
Pros:

The location was excellent, close to Bibury, Burford and Bourton on the Water.
The breakfast was quality as was the food in the bar, we ate there both nights as there was an excellent choice of menu and great care was taken to make sure the food was well presented and delicious.
The staff we all very friendly, polite and courteous.

Cons:

The only downside was that we had no shower in the room, just a bath and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
