Pros:

The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they take time out to talk to you.
Made to feel at home and very welcome ,would definitely stay here again if I was in the area!

Cons:

Rooms a little bit tired but they have been hosting HS2 workers for over two years!
Nothing else was wrong with the location, the staff or the hotel.

Nice accommodation with friendly staff and good food.
Pros:

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. Location was good, close to buses and train station.

Cons:

A small fridge would have been useful, especially given how hot it was. But that's a minor thing.

Great staff. Very basic place to stay. Cleanliness needs improvement. Ok for a cheap and quick stay.
Pros:

The staff were great!!!
The toilet and shower were clean and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed and clean bedding. Clean large and small towels provided for all three of us. Mini soap and bodywash also provided for all three of us. Chicken wings and chips was nice,and very reasonable price. The price of £50 each for two nights stay very much reflects the standard of the room,so yes a reasonable price.Kettle and coffee with milk and sugar also in the room.

Cons:

The pictures did not reflect the true standard of the room we were given at all. It is a very basic place to stay. It is not a hotel,it is a pub with rooms round the back,so when it's dj time you'll not be sleeping!!! Our room looked out onto the outside area where the metal beer barells are kept,so not a nice view at all. The carpet was not hoovered and the bathroom floor and sink were not clean. No plug for the sink either. Toilet roll holder was also broken, so toilet roll was on top of the toilet cistern which is right next to the sink so toilet roll got wet when the sink was used. No shelf or cabinet to use in the bathroom either. No soap/shower gel holder in the shower cubicle. They state that there rooms have big screen TV,we had a little thing on the wall. In no way was it a big screen TV at all. I did see through the window in another room that big screen TV are their. We had a triple single bed room as there were three of us-with only one coat hanger in the wardrobe which was no good at all for three people,and we all had outfits to hang as we were attending an event. The WiFi did not work at all. One out of the three white mugs for drinks in our room had grey scratches all on the inside,it really needed putting in the bin,we did not use it. And we did not receive any housekeeping for our room.
