Ian the owner was excellent went above board to help us, due to our flight cancellation checked in at midnight instead of 3pm which wasn't a problem to him, the location is central to town, the room had everything we needed with plenty of space, would definitely recommend
The hotel is excellently placed e.g. for supermarkets to grab a snack, milk etc and their is an ex Wetherspoons 3 mins walk away. the rooms are large and very clean. Also a big bonus is the fridge in the room. Ian was very welcoming and helpful. It was a big part of my decision to return to the area a week later on my own as I had such a good experience.

Perfect for my needs, a stopover between work and family. Very comfortable and clean.
Comfortable, cosy and clean (just a few dusty patches). A practical place with access to a kitchen which is very helpful plus a fridge in the room. A good location with supermarkets within walking distance and a good base to explore from. Safe for a single traveller and friendly people. Enjoyed my stay!

The owner was very nice amd welcoming when we arrived the room was perfect for what we needed and clean
Ian was very helpful and accommodating, especially when I needed a late check-in.
It was a nice surprise to find breakfast included in the room price. I had a lovely large room and the bed was very comfortable.
I have no complaints.
We have stayed at The Victoria Hotel many times. There is a very relaxed atmosphere the Kitchen provides a little Bonus. Comfy Bed.
