Staff and location next to station
Rooms were basic but very quiet despite the disco in the bar. Staff were pleasant , friendly and attentive . Both checking in and the bar staff. Lager was also excellent

NOTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL.
This hotel was dirty and smelly, I booked in and I left without a refund 20 minutes later I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was quite frightened there, I did not feel safe there, as well as the room was cold and dirty. The bathroom was dirty with mould growing all around the shower. When I said it, the staff replied " there is nothing she can do about that "

Arrived to be met with a request for my card details for a 50 pound damage charge which would be refunded if no damage to room

Don’t stay there - we didn’t - for a good reason and refused a refund! The pub is run down and apparently the hotel bit to the pub is locked at 10pm for safety! We were shown a room (on 14 January 2026) and it stank of smoke so we turned it down. They didn’t offer another room as receptionist said they were full. We drove away and booked a room at a Travelodge and shortly afterwards, the receptionist from the Station Inn rang to say that had a sudden cancellation, so had a free room. We obviously turned it down. Donna the manager, has refused to refund us saying the terms of the booking an discount are that room was non-refundable. That’s outrageous as the room clearly wasn’t suitable. Booking.com do very little to assist, apart from messaging the hotel. We did get £21 voucher to use for future bookings though.
The young lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful .
The room was small smelt damp could hear a guest snoring all night . And was asked to pay a £50 deposit that was refundable if everything was okay after we left .

No Food, Lumpy bed felt the springs, and poor internet.

Matress was sooo bad that Springs could be Clearly Felt In the whole Bed!
