Bad experience and would not recommend
Pros:

Location is convenient as it is close to a train station but doesn’t feel like the safest area. The room had heating. Parking was free.

Cons:

The room was very dirty, and mouldy, with extremely thin walls and ceilings. No 24 hour reception so unfortunately no-one policing partying in big groups in a single room until 6am. Next door’s bed shook mine due to the walls being so thin making for disgustingly low privacy and an experience no one should have to endure. I have also never experienced such a bad mattress - the springs really hurt and were not at all sleep-able on - I had to fold the quilt into 2 underneath me and still woke up in pain.

Adequate
Pros:

I did not eat at the hotel as there was a disco that evening and it was very loud. The accommodation was clean and functional and it was reasonably near to the NEC.

Cons:

I was asked for a £50 deposit for me and a £20 deposit for my dog and was told the they would both be returned to me: one via my bank account and the other via my credit card. The £50 was returned but not the £20. On enquiry I was told that the £20 was not returnable but was given no reason.

Reasonable and friendly
Pros:

Wish we were shown how to get the dogs out if the place was locked up. We were so tired when the guy told us the number. We remembered that but we're really unsure how to get the dogs out. My friend who came down to help me as my Assistance Dog was needing out and we eventually sussed it out. I was charged for my Assistance Dog in training also..
Did like the fact the dogs got a little gift bag each at the end as it included dog bags. But we were supposed to get them when we checked in apparently. The only down side which wasn't the owners fault was some dirty gits had let a dog urinate all the way down the stairs and some folk were not picking up their mess. No wonder we get charged for dogs or no dogs are allowed. Shocking behaviour on their part. Not the establishment. Karaoke was a bonus and a good friendy bunch. And yes we would go back.

Cons:

Would have known better had someone shown us how to let ourselves out and back in at night.
And would have helped had our one in training been allowed in free of charge. Also they Never had any Irion Bru in their pub. The Proper Iron Bru. 😆

Served our purpose BUT wouldn’t stay here again.
Pros:

Car park was a decent size and close to a few shops/ takeaways.
Bed was comfortable although only 1 pillow!
Staff friendly.

Cons:

Room smelt !
No adjoining patio area etc( booking.com stated there was).
No mugs provided and no refills were provided of coffee / tea/ sugar and milk for the second day.
Only 1 pillow provided and very cold on occasions at night.
Staff were very unsure about our booking and payment.
No deposit returned yet !

Le fait que les chiens soit acceptés.

Cons:

Le manque total de confort, que ca soit la literie avec un matelas dont les ressorts vous rentrent dans les côtes et qui sert de trampoline, l'isolation phonique idéale pour suivre les conversations des voisins, le manque d'espace dans la salle de bain où l'on doit rentrer le ventre pour aller à la douche et aucun sèche-cheveux, l'absence de gobelets pour les dents, le rideau qui sert de volet qui ne fonctionne pas. Comptez aussi à payer un supplément pour rester 1h de plus dans votre chambre après 10h.
Le tarif est exorbitant lors de la Crufts. A éviter !!!
