Great choice.
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff, particularly Macy, who seemed to do almost everything. Very efficient and welcoming.
Cosy pub feel, great food, and clean comfortable room.

Definitely recommend The Coach and Horses
Pros:

Lovely, helpful staff, warm and cosy dining room with excellent dinner menu. The converted horse stalls oozed history and we loved that we were staying somewhere authentic.

Cons:

A little out of Oxford but a beautiful area with pretty walks and historic houses.

Welcoming,service,staff and staying in an attractive historic building
Pros:

Breakfast was nice as it was free.Could done without black pudding and more mushrooms.

Enjoyable one night stay with old friends and would definitely stay again if in the area
Pros:

The rooms were very clean and well presented. Modern bathroom with good toiletries, hospitality tray with choice of cows or oat milk.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
An issue with our group booking (my mistake) was resolved without any hassle - many thanks to the manager for her understanding and professional manner in dealing with it.
The food was good and portions were big!

Cons:

We were surprised to find that the dinner service finished at 8pm on the night we stayed however, it did not affect us . Our table reservation (8 people) was for 7-30pm but we were not rushed into ordering and were able to have 3 courses, sit at the table and chat afterwards without being made to feel we should leave.
