Simple single room - comfy enough for work travel / needs in between meetings. Very good evening meal and great breakfast. Friendly staff. Lovely quiet village location. Comfy, relaxing, inviting inn.
Friendly. Spotlessly clean. Great food especially the fish and chips and a wonderful breakfast
nothing to not like
Be very careful if you book this hotel as they cancel rooms and then ask you to rebook at a higher price!
We booked 3 rooms in Sept 25 for July 26 at a price of £85 then suddenly in March 26, 6 months later they cancelled my 3 rooms due to their system update but then advised me I can rebook them at the higher price of £125!
When I complained and asked them to reinstate my booking at the original price I was then advised the rooms had been sold, very convenient. They couldn’t offer an explanation and didn’t really care that they have totally messed up our travel plans just said sorry for any inconvenience caused which is not good enough.
Ben was very helpful, rang to check arrival time, as the kitchen was closing shortly but stayed open a little longer to ensure there was a hot meal. Excellent service!
We booked on the day following an unavoidable cancellation by the Inn had intended to stay at. We were made very welcome on a cold wet Feb Fri when frankly it must have been tempting to decline our booking on an otherwise quiet day. Attentive staff. Great breakfast. Thank you.
Nice
Soap in the bathroom
The 4 poster bed and super comfy pillows and bedding
The reception sign points clients to an empty locked foyer with no info that check in can be done at the bar around the corner.
THE HOTEL IS IN A LOVELY LOCATION WITH EASY PARKING. THE STAFF ARE EXCELLENT AND VERY HELPFUL. THE FACILITIES ARE ADEQUATE FOR THE PRICE RANGE. BREAKFAST WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING, NOT VERY WARM. DINNER WAS FROM A GOOD SELECTION AND REASONABLY PRICED.
NOT TOO BUSY WHEN WE STAYED.
CONSIDERING THE HOTEL WAS NOT TOO BUSY BREAKFAST WAS DISAPPOINTING. ARRIVED QUICKLY SO ALL PRE COOKED. NOT VERY WARM.
Easily accessed and local to were I needed to go

Lovely hotel and staff were very helpful and courteous. It was lovely in the pub and nicely decorated for Christmas.
The room was very cold unfortunately, the radiators weren't heating up most of the time.
The breakfast was good.
Staff were good and food was fine
When we arrived in the early evening the room was cold. What little heat was in the radiator was totally inadequate. Turned the heating adjustment up to 5 and went for dinner - upon returning to the room found the radiator totally cold. Complained to the barman who rang back and said the owners had agreed to put the heating on! However radiator still only got slightly warm. There were only 2 other rooms occupied in the separate hotel section.
A dreadful nights sleep ensued..
In hindsight should have asked for our money back and gone somewhere else.
The location is useful which is why I stayed here, and my normal venue was fully booked. The car parking is good and it's quiet here.
I had a single bed in a fairly small room which is quite tired, but clean. The wifi never works here which is a problem when I am there for work,
