The room was extremely dated, it needed a good clean.
Bed was comfortable. And the breakfast was nice.
Shower was no good at all. The floor was too uneven and the pigeons kept us awake all night.
Staff was wonderful , great atmosphere.
Bed leaned a little and almost fell out of bed.
Staff were friendly and food was nice
Very dated and needed a good clean. Main staris was very dirty. Room was dusty and needed freshen up
Breakfast was lovely, especially having the refill for coffee.
Nice town
Character of building
Friendly staff
Small room
Small bed
Breakfast was good and staff very amenable.
Linen on bed was clean and fresh.
Bed was saggy and felt like was falling out of bed.
Carpets old and dirty, bathroom could have been cleaner and or updated.
Towels were worn thin and grey in colour, original colour was white. Didn't dry you at all.
For a hundred and twenty three pounds stirling a night we expected more. I know it's an old building but some standards need to be kept. Updating rooms could be a start especially invest in some new towels.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff. Our room was huge! and the four poster bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was stunning! Our favourite is eggs Royale and it was absolutely delicious.
Nothing!
The breakfast was top drawer, all the coffee, tea, juice, fruit, yoghurt you could ask for and the full English was outstanding
We stayed in one of the apartments which was about a 1 min walk round the corner. The apartment was very spacious but was in need of some updating particulary in the bathrooms.
Very central and with good chance of parking in an area with lots of restrictions. Lovely breakfast and staff very accommodating
Friends had bad experiences with facilities, a shower door that fell off, and one that didn’t heat up sufficiently. But they were sorted and given alternative room by helpful staff.
Great hotel, but the rooms especially bathrooms could use some renovation. Staff was really kind and helpful ❤️
It was perfect for us as we were at a party just outside.
Nothing
