Polish staff member was a huge credit to the hotel who's name escapes me but she was First class.
Pros:

lounge and breakfast areas very fresh and smart, bedrooms clean and nice views of golf course. Breakfast absolutely satisfactory and staff offer excellent level of service and friendliness.

Cons:

Not as pet friendly as we were lead to believe. The team did their best to rectify points that were raised and James could not have tried any harder to resolve some issues.

Pleasant and peaceful
Pros:

Beautiful views. Very peaceful. Comfy bed.

Cons:

It’s tired in places. Some of the chairs in The Loft18 are very worn and they let it down. My sister’s room was outside of the main building and it was very dusty and cobwebs everywhere.
Breakfast was ok but there was no bread, pastries, we had to find someone to ask. The staff were lovely but one came to our table with a mouthful of food trying to talk to us at the same time.

Amazingly relaxing and Beautiful
Pros:

It was our first visit to this beautiful hotel. We were attending for a local cheer competition for my daughter, we travelled 3 hours from Leeds, and from the price, I was expecting there to be a catch when we arrived. There wasn't. It way exceeded our expectations. We couldn't believe it was so beautiful at such a reasonable price. My daughter had the best time at the pool which was open from 6:30am till 9:30pm. It's never too busy and it was like being abroad for her. We only stayed for 2 nights which didn't feel long enough so we are coming back for a week in the May school holidays which again was an extremely reasonable price.
The food was beautiful, my daughter has a terrible appetite and ate a 3 course kids meal both evenings which was also reasonably priced. The staff we're really great in each dept very friendly & very helpful. The surroundings are stunning with lakes and wildlife, we had a beautiful sunset walk around the grounds. There was a wedding on so we were lucky enough to enjoy fireworks too. Stunning. I can see this being our new place to make lots of lovely memories and relax together

Will definitely be staying there again
Pros:

Lovely surrounding, lovely helpful staff, comfy & warm, balcony was a wonderful surprise. They helped to get us a room near reception as I have mobility issues.

Cons:

Disappointed I had to pay £5 per night for parking & there were only 2 disabled bays that were no closer to the entrance than the normal car park.

I slept but it was gross
Pros:

The exterior and location is beautiful. The staff were very professional and friendly. The temperature of the room was also lovely. Excellent parking. And it feels like a really safe location.

Cons:

There was so much limescale and grime in the bathroom. The shower was like a sprinkle of water and because it was so riddled with limescale, it was shooting off in all different directions. The water pressure was so low, I had to wait what felt like an hour for my hair to get wet and it took ages to rinse. There was mould all around the glass in the shower and the grout is all orange. You could see into the blood hole and it was completely black with dirt.

The beds have a giant button so underneath it you could feel right through the topper. There is no plug near your bedside tables that you could use. - the stickers where I had to re-plug-in said lamp only.

There were pink stains all over the carpet and random hairs over the sheets

The room said you could cast, but the Internet connection in that room was so poor that it wouldn’t allow us to. What’s the point of having a smart TV if you can’t actually use it?

Overall, we just need somewhere to lay our heads before a really busy day, it was fine just a bit gross and Shoddy in some areas
