We arrived in the dark feeling cold and wet, the house looked so inviting and cosy as we approached with a candle in the window. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Rooms were classic, clean and spacious. Grounds were lovely with Golden pheasants and sheep strolling around.
Rooms could have been slightly warmer. In Canna there was no blind at the bathroom window and window was opposite the shower.
Lovely location excellent staff comfortable room.
All the potholes on the two mile drive to the hotel.

The rooms, fireplaces, the grounds and the road into the property.
We booked in April 25, payment taken straight away (which I was OK with) free cancellation possible 7 days prior. 5 days prior to arrival we were advised restaurant would be open & that a limited menu would be available. Was not advised at time of booking that restaurant would be closed (in fact I have confirmation it would be open) I requested a copy of the menu. Very limited indeed. Made contact with the property to advise they were not transparent and should have advised prior to the cancellation period had expired. Had a few emails back and forth prior to me calling to discuss the situation. Spoke to a Robert who was not interested in helping or being flexible in any way. The gardens, property, views, rooms, fireplaces, the road into the property etc are fantastic. The whole character & charm of the property is completely let down by inexperienced staff (not all of them) who have clearly been thrown in the deep end with insufficient training or inadequate induction process. Limited knowledge of drinks, no idea what “Trio of chicken” was on the menu. No sides offered for the meals. No contact from management at any time (even through they were on site. Other patrons requested the kids menu as nothing to their liking on the menu. This place could be brilliant however it’s not going to be under the current management structure. We left after 2 nights (paid for 3) It was so disappointing. A real Fawlty Towers experience.
Tout était très beau : le bâtiment, la chambre, la décoration, la vue depuis l’extérieur. L’accueil était très chaleureux, le lounge est magnifique.
Everything about the hotel.. just superb.
Obiekt położony w bardzo malowniczej okolicy. Pokoje duże, ładne i z widokiem na zatokę (nie wszystkie). Bardzo miły i uczynny personel. Wspaniała restauracja z pysznym jedzeniem.
Location is great and staff are all very kind. It was good value out of season.
Rooms are a little dated not in a good way
Restaurant is a little pricey and actually put me off spending more as not good value. Food itself was nice
Beautiful house in a lovely location.
Staff were really friendly and helpful, going out of their way to be accommodating.
Food was superb! The chef even shared their recipe for my veggie main with me!
Nothing.
The hotel was extremely luxurious and comfortable at a fair and decent price especially since Skye is so sought after. It was quiet and tranquil and we had everything we needed in the room to enjoy our stay, as well as how huge it was so enough for 2 people to have a really pleasant stay for a few days.
Our only complaint which we flagged to staff was our bathroom door was extremely stiff and i had to get my boyfriend to open it for me because it was so tough to open.
Sehr sauberes und schönes Hotel im englischen Landhausstil. Urig und gemütlich am Kamin mit einem Glas Whisky.
Bedauerlicherweise fiel in der Nacht das Licht im Badezimmer aus. Man arbeitet daran?
