Beautiful nights on skye
Pros:

Wow! It is far from all the trouble with a beautiful garden and restaurant.

The food was exceptional aswell as breakfast.

The room was comfortable and clean.

The staff Kaytlin, Sascha and the blonde lady were supper supper nice!

A hidden gem, highly recommend
Pros:

A lovely, warm and welcoming hotel with equally lovely, helpful staff. Very clean and cosy. Great dinner in the restaurant and good location.

Cons:

The grounds had great potential however, nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings and possible star-gazing.

Everything about this hotel felt very special, from the place to the people and I couldn't fault it.
Pros:

My partner and I visited this hotel for the night to celebrate our engagement, for which the hotel accommodated my request for a bottle of prosecco on arrival and included a card which was a nice touch. We were greeted and served by incredibly friendly staff throughout our stay, especially towards our dog who was very well treated! The location of this hotel was along a very private and serene pathway with beautiful gardens and surroundings. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Both the evening meal and breakfast were lovely, especially the bread and butter pudding and the chocolate fondant!

Absolutely nothing.

Pros:

The common area was very nice. We had a Highland high tea which was wonderful. Some of the staff was very friendly. Our room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The bed was comfortable. There are beautiful golden pheasants on the property. It's in a beautiful part of Skye.

Cons:

The night we checked in we were rushed through dinner because the staff was repeatedly calling us to tell us we needed to check in before 10pm... But then when we got there, it seemed like there was no rush at all. It was a bit odd. The dinner we had there one night was not great. The room is weirdly dated with a giant open space and no furniture to fill it, and a fake fireplace that offered no heat.

Kurze Betten aber schönes Hotel

Die Kellner waren super nett, allgemein die Stimmung die das Hotel vermittelt war super, wie der offene Kamin war.

Cons:

Die Betten sind kürzer als üblich, meinem Mann standen die Füße fast über. Auch die Ausstattung in Badezimmer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man kann die Duschbrause nicht aus der Halterung nehmen und man kann sich die Hände am Waschbecken nur mit (zu) warmen oder sehr kaltem Wasser waschen. Die Fenster im Bad waren transparent und es gab keine Möglichkeit zu verdecken. Schade, es war eines der teuersten Unterkünfte die wir hatten.

Sembra di stare in una favola, location splendida sia dentro che fuori, camera spaziosa e pulita, personale gentilissimo. Colazione abbondante e buona. Abbiamo provato anche il ristorante per cena, quesito anche se un po’ caro.

Cons:

Non è facile arrivarci, la strada è stretta e dissestata…ma comunque ne vale la pena!

Trop cher et ne vaut pas 4 étoiles pour la qualité du service.

Tres bel emplacement, joli cottage typique

Cons:

Beaucoup trop cher pour le service: petit déjeuner à 25 pounds alors que de tous les hôtels que l’on a fait, c’était le moins fourni (aucune viennoiserie restante à 9h du matin, aucun choix de confiture). La literie est à changer: draps anciens et rêches et les matelas extrêmement usés et inconfortables (bosses sur le matelas). Pas de bouteille d’eau fournie, alors que d’autres hôtels supposés être de moins bon standing en fournissaient. Machine à café dans l’une des deux chambres et aucune capsule fournie, il a fallu en réclamer. Et la circulation pour parvenir à l’hôtel est vraiment compliqué (route très étroite, presque aucune passing placé sur 3 km).
