Loved it. Would stay again.
Pros:

The food was the best we had in Scotland. The hotel and grounds were lovely and quiet. The staff was very helpful and always available.

Cons:

The road to get to it was a little rough.

Extremely overpriced for the experience.
Pros:

Kaitlyn and all the staff were exceptional.
Dinner on first night was very good. Breakfast was a quite different, a very basic experience.
Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The pungent smell at Reception on arrival and when descending stairs for meals is stomach-churning. Terrible first impression.
Extremely overpriced for accommodation and a building that is tired and dated (as opposed to romantic and atmospheric). Upstairs is poorly lit and dim. Furniture has water stains and Reception staff have to make do with terribly worn Reception furniture and hot water bottles and smelly dog bed behind them. However, Staff do a truly great job to keep the place ticking over, having to multi-skill all day.
The walks need to be on a narrow main road as there is no access to any paths alongside the Loch at bottom of the garden because it is a grimy marine industrial complex with sad, demountable and rather refugee-like accommodation for the back-packer staff who do a fine job when on duty but seemingly without professional, contemporary management backup. Beware the exceptional website and branding which over-promises but unfortunately for the price, the property overall under delivers.

Pros:

We had dinner there as it is very isolated and didn't want to drive at night on the small road. Food was good and room was large and had all the necessities.

Cons:

This was one of the more expensive rooms that we stayed at during the trip without breakfast.

Dissapointing stay really as expected more from a £360/night hotel without breakfast.
Pros:

The lounge and TV area was exceptional with an open fire and very comfortable. Bed was comfy. Room was warm. Shower was exceptional. Lots of plug points around the room.

Cons:

Staff welcome could have been better. Rooms are basic and the hotel felt more like a guest house than a hotel. Way overpriced for what you get. Bar prices high. Property in need of modernisation and general maintenance. Late check in at 4pm means you only get 18hrs in the property. Driveway heavily potholed and in urgent need of repair. Totally unsuitable for sports cars!

Some staff members were exceptionally kind and helpful, but the limited hot water and inconsistent service significantly
Pros:

Two members of staff (one of them is Mark) were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. In particular, the staff member who assisted us with check-in was very kind and later helped us resolve our luggage issue, which we really appreciated so we tipped them.

Cons:

The hot water supply for the shower was quite limited, which made showering inconvenient. Our experience with the staff was also inconsistent. While two staff members were very warm and helpful, the staff member assisting us during check-out was quite unfriendly and unwilling to provide solution with our luggage issue. Also, things like we said good morning to him, but he ignored us. In the end, it was actually the staff member who had helped us at check-in who stepped in and resolved the problem for us. We really appreciated their help, but we feel the service should be more consistent across all staff members.

A cozy getaway!

It was in a lovely area. Stunning property.

Cons:

We ate at the restaurant and found the food too salty, a touch over priced and the tall waiter was not at his best. However, they accommodated our need to change reservations and we were grateful for that.

Pros:

Hotel ma fajny klimat, stworzony poprzez wykończenie wnętrz, umeblowanie i dodatki. Jest usytuowany w spokojnej i cichej okolicy. Dojazd do hotelu może nieco odstraszyć, bo prowadzi przez kilka kilometrów wąskiej, polnej drogi zdającej się wieść donikąd, ale nie można się tym zrażać. Na posesji znajduje się spory parking do dyspozycji gości. Nasz pokój był przestronny, dobrze wyposażony i czysty. Miał wygodne łóżko oraz prywatną łazienkę. Na miejscu serwowane są śniadania z dużym wyborem dań (głównie lokalnej kuchni) i dodatków.

Cons:

Wszystko było w porządku. Jedynie cena za nocleg jest bardzo wysoka, ale to się niestety tyczy wszystkich obiektów w tej okolicy.

Pros:

Chambre très bien et situation idyllique. Beaux salons. Très beau cadre. C'est très calme.

On ne peut même pas laisser courir son chien dans les jardins car il y a des moutons et des lapins sauvages!!!
La dame à l'accueil est sympathique, par contre le monsieur que je pense être le patron est totalement antipathique, on a juste un sourire lors du payement. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits: premier breakfast, plus de jus d'orange et plus de bacon, jamais vu cela. Le buffet n'est pas réassorti, il faut donc arriver tôt sinon, vous n'aurez pas grand chose à manger. En plus, le restaurant était fermé car plus de cuisinier... normal, le cuisinier devait être parti au vu de l'antipathie du patron. Nous avons dû aller manger dans un restaurant à Edinbane qui appartient au patron de l'hôtel ( Edinbane Inn) et c'est un piège à touristes.
Cet hôtel est un piège à touristes au vu du prix demandé. De plus, bon à savoir, le montant de la réservation est immédiatement débité sur votre carte de crédit

Die Lage ist traumhaft, mit einer parkähnlichen Anlage umgeben und Blick aufs Meer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend, im Garten leben Goldfasane und Hasen, die man vom Restaurant aus mit etwas Glück beobachten kann.

Cons:

An der ein oder andere Stelle wäre ein neuer Anstrich erforderlich.

No recomiendo, muy decadente
Pros:

El hotel podría estar bien, pero está muy decadente. La ubicación es muy remota y cuando ya hay confirmado la reserva te informan de que no ofrecen cena por falta de personal. Al hacer la reserva no ofrecen desayuno y te lo ofrecen una vez estás allí, a un precio abusivo, a pesar de no tener cafetera express ni la opción de calentar la leche. Está ubicado en medio de la nada, lo cual podría ser muy bucólico, sin embargo tuvimos que soportar toda la noche el ruido de un generador o una caldera.
