All good
Very friendly staff, hotel spotlessly clean, perfect location
The only complaint would be the evening meals were a little basic
The stunning views, the exceptional staff. The breakfast was amazing. The room was perfect. We will return in the near future.
Lovely hotel in a great location, with attentive, friendly staff. Parking available. Dog-friendly too.
I wasn't there long enough!
The position, the hotel, the staff and the accessible room were all fantastic
Nothing, everything was great
Staff extremely amicable, approachable and efficient. Friendly and happy to chat and get to know you. Nothing to much for them even when very busy.
Chef brilliant, and choice of food excellent.
Location is my favourite when visiting. Accessible for The Cleveland Way and Bus route 2 minutes away. Fabulous

Good selection of cereals, fresh fruits and choices of cooked breakfasts. The staff were friendly and efficient
I can't think of anything
Great View, nice decor, pub and restaurant on site.
Tip: tge bathroom door / shower was verry squeeky but ok when wet , over all exellent.
We stayed in the Captain Quarters and the room was fantastic. Really spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The complimentary gin and tonic, biscuits and bottled water were much appreciated. The breakfast was excellent The views are stunning. Would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat and hope to be back.
Nothing
Very traditional and exceptionally well presented with the position over looking the sea. Perfect 👍🏻
The weather ! 🌦️
View on the bay was fantastic. We enjoyed seeing the tides at different times of day. Also appreciated parking! And the grassy terrace was a wonderful place to enjoy the sun and a cocktail.
Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Good food. Exceptional views.
There was nothing I could complain about.
Location, setting, atmosphere at the hotel. Staff in reception were very helpful. Room was lovely.
Only small critic would be some of the less experienced staff or maybe younger staff as observed need to be more aware of people watching them and the way they convey themselves and talk about patrons in earshot.
Veiws, walks and food.
Steep hills, unavoidable
