We loved the warm welcome and friendly and helpful staff. The views from the dining room were fabulous. Meals were delicious and service great.
We stayed in the house next door. The room was smaller than expected.
Excellent location with beautiful views. Nicely presented. Food good. Hotel reception staff were helpful and welcoming.
Staff in the bar and restaurant were mostly inattentive and service was poor. Wait times at breakfast and dinner were over 30 mins for food to come from the kitchen.
Location fantastic, with exceptional views
Bar and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly
The hotel is setup for all weather
The breakfast was a slight disappointment. When items on the buffet ran out they weren’t topped up. Though the quality of the food was good
Very comfortable room, really enjoyed convenience of Captain’s Quarters room and the lovely gardens.
Breakfast wasn’t quite as high quality as expected.
Fantastic views, perfect location for visiting surrounding areas
Nothing we didn't like
Beautiful location, staff exceptional nothing was too much trouble, lovely rooms well maintained
Excellent staff very helpful.
Parking is becoming limited now they’ve added additional rooms.
The friendly staff, the food in the restaurant, the outdoor space including the car park, the position of the hotel overlooking Robin Hood’s Bay and the bed.
The sound of someone walking across the floor in the room above. The occupants were possibly sleep walking and they were definitely early risers.
The views were beautiful overlooking Robin hoods bay and food and drink were mostly very good.
The bacon and egg were little overcooked, which was a disappointment.
Views are amazing, probably the best in the bay, food was exemplary for a reasonable price
The room was very hot, and didn’t sleep very well as there was a generator or a boiler making a loud noise right outside our window all night
Excellent location and staff. The staff could not have been more helpful.
