Pros:

Good location, however not great if you struggle with steep climbs.
Great fish and chip shop nearby.

Cons:

Our room was very disappointing, very dated.
If you don't mind older hotels with creaky floors in the bedrooms ect..Just not for me personally.

Excellent place. This is there first time we’ve stayed since the refurbishment and it’s excellent.
Pros:

Excellent friendly staff, lovely room and amazing reception rooms and bar in great location.

Cons:

The food was good, we had the fish platter. Our only slight criticism is that it had too much fried stuff on it. We would have paid more for crab, lobster, and more oysters.
They could have also done with more front of house staff, as glasses were pulling up on the terrace on a sunny weekend.
All Minor points though!

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

We loved where the hotel was, overlooking the bay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful, the decor the furniture the fittings just beautiful. The restaurant has a fabulous outlook. Our breakfast was very good and the meal we had in the restaurant was delicious. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.
We had a lovely stay at the Victoria and would definitely stay again.

Wir werden bestimmt erneut buchen. Danke für die schönen Tage
Cons:

Excellent hotel with character in a superb location
Pros:

The staff were friendly and professional. The dinner we enjoyed was superb. Breakfast was very good. The room with balcony was lovely and spacious. spotlessly clean too. Very happy to recommend to others.

Cons:

What didn't we like? Leaving ! We'd enjoyed our visit and the hotel so much that we would have happily stayed longer if we had been able. However, time and life commitments did not allow. We'd heartily recommend for a longer stay than ours.

Unforgettable view
Pros:

The hotel is in a perfect location with a wonderful view over the bay. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea with food & drink, listening to an acoustic band is unbeatable. The friendly busy staff look after you very well. The rooms are clean with unique features. The view of the sea at breakfast and dinner is a great way to start and end the day. We were lucky to get parking in the hotel car park.

Cons:

The hotel was very busy due to the bank holiday weekend.
