Cons:

There was no soap in bathroom, and in spite of telling reception there was still no soap in dispenser after second night. Room was really hot and had no windows.

Nice staff, decent location but the room was unhygienic and I fear it may be infested.
Pros:

The staff were friendly at reception and the reception area seemed nice enough. The bed was actually comfy and one of the pillows was decent. I also thought it was quite quiet and it was fairly handy with the airport which was good as the flight I was on was cancelled which is why I ended up at this hotel and O had to get an early flight the next day and the taxi journey is only about five minutes. I also had a shower and there was nothing wrong with the shower and felt the bathroom in my room was perfectly fine.

Cons:

When I got into my room insects of some sort flew in my face as soon as I came in. When I went to pull back my blanket there were three insects which looked like big letterfly looking insects but not like the ones you usually see so that was disgusting. O also felt like something was biting me when I was trying to sleep and ended up getting a small bite mark just at the top of my foot. My skin felt itchy for a couple of days after my stay so I suspect there were bed bugs of some sort in the bed I was sleeping in. There were also multiple large holes in the carpet of my room and on the door there were some sort of white marks and scrapes. The furniture also looked very old and dated. It was pretty obvious it was run down and a refurbishment is much needed. It just didn't feel like a hygienic space to sleep in. I also noticed the bin in my room had no lid and given the fact there's insects I think this is bad as any food or anything dumped into that bit will keep them alive for longer and potentially encourage breeding, so that needs to be sorted out. One of my pillows was okay but the other was rock hard but the bed was comfy, it's just that it was infested - which clearly isn't what anyone would want.

Excellent room (and new shower) - very good value for money.
Pros:

The room was very clean and spacious. I really enjoyed the new looking walk in shower and bathroom. The breakfast was also good (and very good value for money). The staff (including at reception) were very helpful.

Cons:

I was disappointed there was only decaffinated coffee sachets available in the room (no normal coffee). The hotel frontage and some
of the decor in the public areas (whilst Ok) did look a bit tired. Front revolving door was also broken/out of order.

Excellent. The Brittania will be my first choice for my recurring Aberdeen trips.
Pros:

The hotel & staff were excellent, the biggest bonus was the free parking. Having stayed in Aberdeen multiple times the easy accessible free parking made a substantial reduction in the cost of my stay. The Brittania will be my first choice on my return visits to Aberdeen.

Great value for money if you don't care about location.
Pros:

Buffet dinner and Breakfast were very good.
Lovely shower and comfortable bed in room 519.

Cons:

Location and view out window but not something you cant change.
