Would definitely recommend
Pros:

Staff were a credit to the hotel. They gave it the mist welcoming atmosphere. Loved the Tunnocks wafers and the cans of water.

Cons:

Shower wasn’t the best but wouldn’t put me off staying again. Evening meal was a limited menu for a generally non chip person but that was probably me being more picky

The fact it was dog friendly and the staff were also helpful

Cons:

No waste bins in out door area. Dog friendly but nowhere to leave poop bags🥴.
Only other negative which would only be a negative in summer months was the seating / smoking area inches from our ground floor bedroom window. For a short time it was quite noisy and we couldn’t open window because of the smoking. I imagine in the summer that room would be a nightmare to stay in as the toilets were also in the foyer right beside the entrance to the room.

Lovely friendly hotel and well worth a visit
Pros:

Lovely comfortable room. Bed really comfy. Slept well. Quiet location. Lovely meal in restaurant. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Loved tunnocks wafer to have with tea. Little touches like this make all the difference.

Really nothing I would change!
