Amazing stay in a historic building with a wonderful staff
Pros:

Amazing property. Absolutely feels like you're swimming in elegance. Begins with a front desk staff that looks straight out of central casting, handsome men and beautiful women who are all gracious and thoughtful and committed to service. The building is historic but updated and absolutely stunning in every part. The restaurant is particularly good for both breakfast and dinner and we had some spectacular meals there with terrific service. The gym was nice to have too and I got in a decent workout there. The neighborhood is quiet and upscale and located next to a high street that is full of cute restaurants and shops. Any problems on the property are handled by the aforementioned staff in the most caring and excellent way. By the way, don't let the somewhat unusual "Private Members Club" make you think this is not a professionally run hotel. If anything, this hotel is run better than most of the large chain hotels I've been in, and I travel for a living.

Cons:

We had to move rooms because we were over the nightclub on property, which runs to 0300 on Friday and Saturday. The staff was absolutely lovely about helping us get re-accomodated and everything worked out well. Also, the neighborhood of Marylebone is so nice you're going to have a hard time getting your desire up to go to other parts of London, and the restaurants are so good on the property its a real challenge to try to think of why you should explore and go somewhere else!

Accepting modern change, the Baroness would be proud
Pros:

Home House is named after its commissioner and first owner Elizabeth, Countess of Home. She was a party lover, and Home House exudes fun, happiness and style. More than this, it is a Grade I listed property (there are not many of those) and the interiors of the buildings are beathtakingly beautiful: everyone talks of the rightly amazing and famous double staircase of Robert Adam, but next door in House 21, there is a pretty stunning cantilevered stone staircase which is well worth admiring.

The small number of bedrooms are similarly grand, and even the simplest room will have newcomers shocked at the size and generosity of the soft furnishings, decor, fixture and fittings, right down to Dyson hairdryers and Penhaligon's toiletries. The staff match this overall plush but relaxed ambience: friendly, charming, happy and individual - this says a lot for the management. Food and drinks are excellent, and the wine list would please any connoisseur. Don't hesitate to visit for a moment even if it might be a little over budget: you get common spaces to die for, and exceptional living if you are staying - and it is 200 yards from Selfrdiges!

Exceptional.
Pros:

Absolutely love this property. I’m not a member but the booking.com rates are great. The rooms are stunning. The beds comfy, the aircon awesome and the staff go the extra mile and make you feel valued and special. The welcome drink is a really nice touch.

Cons:

The gym area is a bit grotty. It feels like the staff area rather than a public area. It could be so nice but the finish is not as good quality as the rest of the house and the floors feel a bit grimy.

Hidden gem in the middle of London. I have already recommended it to everyone i know.
Pros:

Location is a 12/10. The hotel is on Portman Square with access to the garden in the middle. 2 mins walk to Selfridges. Room was gorgeous and a great size. The bed was one of the comfiest i’ve ever slept in. Room was a lovely temperature even thought it was really hot outside. Garden bar was amazing, i felt like i was in St Tropez or something! Last note - the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. It genuinely felt like a 5 star property.

Cons:

My only real complaint was that there is no lift. And we were on the second floor but that was actually four flights of stairs.
