Was clean, plenty of space and was placed in a room that got no outside light which was perfect as can only sleep in darkness, great choice of breakfast
Arrived late at night and the route google mapvgave us was a pich black alley but no fault of hotel
We have stayed at the Rochford before, it's a lovely comfortable hotel the staff are very friendly and helpful, as there was a large wedding going on the staff made sure our room was away from the disco so we had a good night's sleep, breakfast was good lovely waitress, very enjoyable + the reception booked us a taxi which was very helpful
Nothing everything was very good
Very spacious, not a lot of noise from other guests. The staff were super helpful (I stupidly lost my key after a wedding reception and someone came to help in the early hours!!)

Parking was too expensive
I was assured by the receptionist that a takeaway breakfast would be delivered outside my bedroom door as I was leaving very early the following morning. Unfortunately I didn't receive my breakfast the following morning. Additionally the room was exceptionally noisy and was woken up countless times by other tenants walking around and taking in the corridor.
I like the location and Staff were helpful.
Facilities, shower was broken and no wifi provided in hand. Not many things for that price.

The staff at the Rochford were incredibly friendly and so helpful. The room was adequate, bit tired and dates, but comfortable. soft towels comfortable bed and good location for The Lawn venue.
no shower gel, just a small bar of soap. veggie breakfast sausage wasn't nice at all.
The lady on reception was lovely and friendly, the room was very spacious, the breakfast was lovely.
Although our room was very spacious, it had a horrid smell. The sort of smell where the carpet needs a good clean or a good hoover. Also the beds were not nice. Two singles pushed together, with no mattress protectors, and an undersheet which was not even big enough to tuck into the side of the mattress, so it was literally sitting on top and then when you turn over in bed, the whole sheet comes off. The mattress itself looked questionable too. The pillows were also completely flat and had a horrid waterproof cover on them, so they squeaked every time you moved and they smelt too. Black mould in the bathroom around the bath, and a toilet seat which did not actually fit the toilet. Unfortunately, when we left there was nobody around to tell so we just left our key in the box and went. I am sad to write this as the staff were amazing and could not be more helpful, but the building itself needs some TLC for sure and our room does need a deep clean (room 14).

I love the friendliness of the staff. They always remember we have Stayed before. Breakfast is always excellent top quality food. The rooms are always very roomy.
The late check in and early checkout.
A little basic. Rooms/ dining rooms etc seemed very bare and kind of vibe less. However for a basic hotel when you just need somewhere to stay it does what it says on the tin. Building a bit tired but very clean despite this.
I like the breakfast the garden are beautiful I had a relaxed stay!

Broken sink , the smell of the bedroom and the cleaning left a lot to be desired , no information pack was led to believe that we could get food there , but if a wedding is being held there’s nothing available, and if you do want a drink from the bar you have to order via your room , not the best being stuck in a smelly room
