Perfect Stay – Dog Friendly and Welcoming!
We had an absolutely perfect stay in the Lake District! The hotel was in a beautiful location, spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. What made it even more special was how dog friendly everything was. Our dog was made to feel just as welcome as we were — from the hotel itself to the surrounding walks and local places, it was all very pet-friendly. It made our trip even more enjoyable knowing our furry friend could be part of it all. Highly recommended for anyone travelling with a dog!
Lovely location, cosy bar areas.
Room was a bit chilly
Breakfast was fantastic loca
Food friendly staff
Good location, dog friendly and clean
Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the second night we stayed we had a much nicer room for less money, we had a lovely window seat for breakfast and very easy check in and out. The location was great for the hikes we had planned
There were no parking spots available for us so we had to park on the road.
Great pub/hotel. Rooms were lovely. Pub food was delicious. Overall it was great!
Just a short drive to get to Keswick town centre. Hotel was beautiful with breathtaking views, so much more peaceful than staying in town. Breakfast and evening meal was superb, fresh and tasty and enough to fill you for hours. Room was lovely, so much better than we were expecting, even included a small private balcony area. Only stayed for one night but we'll definitely be back in the future.
