Comfortable pleasant stay in this traditional hotel.
Pros:

Loved the home comfort feel. The staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights

Cons:

I have just one issue with our stay in room 11. The shower wasn’t very good. It did not have a much power and had a very low flow and you struggled to get wet and then struggled to rinse off.

Very pleased
Pros:

The food was amazing.
Good food at reasonable prices.
Brilliant garden with sun shades.
Dog friendly although only allowed in one of the two bars.
The views from the frontage were brilliant.
Ideally situated for hiking.
Friendly helpful staff.
Got a lot going for this place. Looking forward to returning next year.

Cons:

Not much really. The room it self wasn't ritz but, very comfortable bed with a good shower.

Pros:

The Coledale Inn is quite a special historic family run place in a superb location. I enjoyed the food and beer here and the views across to Skiddaw from my room and the amazing garden, hiking through the local village (and trying the superb local store) and hiking into Keswick and taking a bus back.

Cons:

The ensuite shower was quite compact but fine.

Pros:

A basic room in a lovely establishment. The restaurant was very good. Excellent menu with delicious homemade items. Good breakfast service too.

Very friendly place to stay. Will return again.
Pros:

The Coledale was very friendly and welcoming. We had our dog and it wasn’t long before we realised it was very dog friendly with many returning visitors. We would definitely go back.

We’ve stayed several times and every time has been a pleasure. We always travel with our dogs. The rooms , the food and all the staff are fantastic.
