The staff were exceptional, so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.
Although the hotel and restaurant were very busy, we were greeted almost immediately at check in and when we went for dinner the service was speedy and the food delicious.
The room was very clean and perfectly comfortable (a lovely firm mattress!)
Parking was a little bit of a challenge as it was so busy there were no spaces left. Luckily, another customer was leaving and we were able to get their spot but not sure where we would have parked otherwise as the local residential streets were full also.
Lovely location. Breakfast good
Small bathroom
Location, food, warm welcome

Great place to stay, dog friendly, and great breakfast. Friendly staff and very helpful.
Fantastic location just outside the busy town of Keswick. Enjoyed a weekend break in a well presented ground floor room which was very convenient as we had our dog with us. Lovely welcoming bar areas with a good choice of pub food.
The shower room was functional and very clean but a bit on the small side.
Carrément tout : charmante auberge familiale, au calme, un peu en surplomb du village de Braithwaite.
Chambre spacieuse, claire, propre. Les lits sont confortables, le petit déjeuner copieux et excellent et le personnel très sympathique et attentionné. Je reviendrai volontiers si j'en ai l'occasion !
Absolument rien !
Very good room with really nice food.
Cost of drinks in the bar.
