As good as it could with no hesitation to use the Hotel again if I am ever in the area
Pros:

Staff were friendly, the breakfast choice was good, and overall quality of food very good. The room was small but sufficient, and the surrounding area was very pleasant

Cons:

The early finish to food and drink availability in the evening was a bit if a surprise, and might be an issue with some

A Hidden Gem Close to Nottingham
Pros:

The staff were very nice and extremely helpful.
The room was very pleasant if a bit dated and the bed was not overly comfortable in our room, although my daughter said the bed in her room was very comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

To be honest there is nothing I didn't like.

Lovely quiet place.
Friendly staff, very accomadating.
Room was great value for money - clean and comfortable with everything you needed (and a window that opened!) Not too mention the Bathtub.....oh wow! perfect for a relaxing bath lover like myself.

Cons:

Had slight trouble finding it originally maybe a few more signs on the way as sat nav tells you wrong place!!!

Pros:

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Well kept hotel.
The train and military memorabilia are very interesting. Breakfast was good ( full English). There could have been more variety with juice and jams ( only orange juice and marmalade provided.

Cons:

The hotel is at the end of a road practically in an industrial estate. Evening meals are served on plates that are smaller than average which makes them.look.like they're children's meals.
You have to get a taxi if you want to go anywhere other than a pub called The Gate.
The bar/ restaurant closes approximately 8pm!

Disappointing and I would not return
Pros:

Bed was comfortable and bathroom was modern and clean

Cons:

It was in the middle of nowhere and the pub shuts at 7:30pm - so by the time I arrived there was no food. Reception was closed but eventually someone came out to let me in. I was given a number to call in case I needed anything as was told the staff had all gone home.
I called the number several times but no one answered. I had no car, so ended up ordering a take away.
I actually felt quite vulnerable as a lone woman as there was no one around and no one answering my calls if I needed help.
