Excellent staff, comfortable bed- rooms need some TLC
Pros:

The staff were friendly and polite, attentive to requests prior to stay and any needs during the visit .
The bed was comfortable and bedding was clean.
Although small, the bathroom was accessible and warm
Ground floor accessible accommodation provided with private access directly from the Carpark.
All members of staff were welcoming and supportive of needs, assisting with disabled access and providing appropriate table in the restaurant area

Cons:

The property is in need of general maintenance and repairs
The room had a noticeable amount of damp in the wardrobe and bathroom
Noise from the outside play area and car park was noticeable
The tv is restricted to limited channels and difficult to navigate
The restaurant prices are high.
During our stay it was unexpectedly busy and one meal was not satisfactory. However, a member of staff did offer to help with this and was again very helpful, but unfortunately by this point, the other person had finished their meal so we proceeded to leave constructive feedback and exit the restaurant. Our second meal, from the pizza oven offers on the menu was excellent ,(look out for the offers on the menu, otherwise on the expensive side)

Pros:

We stayed for one night and it was clean, comfortable,.friendly staff and excellent food.

Cons:

Only thing was on booking.com it said a garden view room which it wasnt but otherwise all good

Pros:

It was close to family and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park plus the Garden Centre 5 minutes away for breakfast.

Cons:

The mattress wasn't comfortable, it dipped badly in the middle.

Good value and clean.
Pros:

The property is great value for money. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The mattress in Bedroom 1 needs attention. It’s has slumped under the front left corner. Replace this then it would be brilliant.
The air conditioner for the pub was under the bedroom window - a bit of a nuisance.

Comfortable beds. Clean room.

Cons:

Children's playground right outside room. Appreciate children have to play., but didn't expect it right outside. We are 75 + years old. Maybe perhaps warn guests it could get a little noisy.
Tv on in garden near room. It was on till 11pm. light on outside of room till 1 15 am

Gluten meals expensive could have got large gluten free chips and burger from gluten free chip shop for under £10 not £20. For me pub meals no longer a option

Clean, comfortable and warm would stay again
Pros:

Travelling for business , ideal for short stays, with the restaurant attached, enables to have a decent meal and a drink , secure gate so no worries for parking the car overnight

No breakfast available, but really not an issue for me
