Consistently good and lovely setting
Pros:

Staff are exceptional in the restaurant and at breakfast. Great breakfast. Fluffy towels.

Was nice once… vibes of a best western and double the cost.
Pros:

Location was great.

Cons:

Rats….. there was a decapitated rat out side the door to my room and another by the nadjacent room.

Rats in the ceiling, scurrying around all night, kept awake. Not a restful nights sleep.

For star level, no fridge or water in the room.

Wonderful place and will look to stay again next year
Pros:

Beautiful establishment out in the countryside, with a fabulous room in their Gatehouse. Made for a heavenly stay

Very relaxing short stay exceptional breakfast

Generally comfortable stay and would probably return.
Pros:

Lovely garden aspect within the walled garden. Room was warm and clean and bed comfortable. The menu was a little limited but the food provided very tasty. Overall very happy.

Cons:

The lodges in which we stayed were a little tired and require decoration and the outside, renovation . The shower unit did not function correctly.

Visually the hotel is appeasing but the smell in the room and needs a general update
Pros:

The views were beautiful
The hotel from the outside and the location was great

Cons:

The room had a damp smell, room needs updating, no plug sockets near the bed, only decaf coffee in the room
