Good value Relaxed and comfortable stay
Pros:

Very comfortable stay, well designed decor with quality fixtures. Plenty of parking, Quality breakfast and restaurant food. Friendly staff within a relaxed atmosphere.

Cons:

Restaurant menu could have more choices and a bit pricey for À la Carte options.

A gem in the midst of the Wiltshire countryside.
Pros:

We were greeted most graciously and allowed into our room early after a 9-hour flight from the US. "Wansdyke" was the room name with exposed beams and was beautifully decorated with J.J.Audubon prints of birds. Dinner was outstanding -Starters-Olives and Scotch eggs, then Pollock, Burek, and Dessert- German chocolate cake and black cherries, and custard tart and strawberries.
Slept well in the king size bed. Breakfast again was excellent.
Sorry to have to leave!

Cons:

Our travel schedule to have allowed to stay longer. One night was just not enough.

Superb quality food and rooms - 10/10
Pros:

Perfect pub tucked away in a small village, offering great accommodation and fabulous top quality dining - a significant cut above your average pub offering, the evening meal and breakfast deserve top marks.

Pros:

Located in a lovely quiet village
The pub had original features which did not detract from excellent amenities
Lovely big comfortable bed
Excellent awareness of coeliac disease and were able to accommodate my diet without a problem

Cons:

The dinner menu is small so my gf choices were limited but all good quality food

Superb hotel, restaurant in an idyllic village, but horribly hot room in Summer.
Pros:

The restaurant is superb. Breakfast was excellent. The village is idyllic.

Cons:

It was a hot night and it was a very hot room up in the roof! The fan was wholly inadequate. The hotel needs to find a better solution.

A perfect getaway
Pros:

Great location, lovely big room with a comfortable bed. The staff were fantastic, the food was excellent and they were really dog friendly.
