This Hotel suits me because I go to the Guild Hall on the corner.
Pros:

I have stayed here once before because of the location. This time I was on the 2nd Floor, in a Twin Room. The new owner was most helpful. The room was lovely and quiet. Plenty of storage room which some properties do not have. I do not eat breakfast so I only went to my room.

Cons:

My bed I am afraid was uncomfortable., so I did not sleep well. I have hip replacements so I require a softer bed.

Large room. Comfortable. Parking round back of hotel.

Well located for our needs. Very central and good access to attractions in the area.

Cons:

We arrived at 15.10, check in is from 15.00. Our room was not ready until around 16.20. We were left waiting in the reception with no real apology, or estimate of time until the room would be ready. We think that they had been full the night before and only had one cleaner. We understand things can happen and it's a small establishment, but communication and perhaps even a small gesture like an offer of a cup of tea or coffee whilst we waited and an update on how long it would be would have gone a long way. When we got the room key, again, no apology for the long wait.

Perfect, good value for money, would stay again
Pros:

Perfect for a short stay for 3 of us, plenty of room, friendly helpful staff! Room well equipped with nicely arranged towels and hot drinks and biscuits.

Disappointing Hotel
Pros:

The owners were very welcoming

Cons:

The bed was so uncomfortable that a nights sleep was impossible, and the pillows needed replacing. In the bathroom, the water pressure in the shower was nonexistent, and there was no soap in the soap dispenser. The plug in the sink didn't work, so we couldn't run a sink of hot water. This was sold as a deluxe king. Unfortunately, there was nothing deluxe about it.

I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff.
Pros:

I needed good internet access and a quite area for an important meeting. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. I was even brought a cup of coffee during my meeting. Really helpful people!

Cons:

No real issues.

Pros:

Friendly staff, good sized room and mainly clean.

Cons:

There was a stain on a sheet on one of the beds., I reported it to them in the morning and straight away they said they would bin it as washing hadn't removed it. Could do with explaining how to access car park a wasn't clear.

Basic rooms marketed as deluxe. Definitely not worth £93 a night minus breakfast
Pros:

Staff/ family went above and beyond. The nice bar was a bonus. Fans were provided in the room. Clean bedding. I must apologise that one of the photos loaded were not of the room but its proved impossible to delete.

Cons:

Worn out furniture. Stained carpet. Peeling wallpaper. Very hot small room. Tiny bathroom with marks left on mirror. Room was extremely grim and boiling and we couldn't wait to get out of it.
