Such lovely and attentive staff
Lovely food in restaurant
Perfect location room size perfect walkable distance from everything we needed for our stay
Overall clean and comfy with lovely finishing around the room felt more like a home from home
Really good prices for a beautiful location and outstanding food and hospitality
As stated overall clean but we did have to wipe out our cups as dust was in them and the coffee machine was dirty where coffee pods are placed but it has to be said lovely selection of coffee and hot chocolate and great to have a coffee machine and kettle
Bathroom clean could do with shower gel as well as shampoo and conditioner and toilet brush was also covered in wet toilet paper but we didn’t have to use it and I’m sure it was just missed on our visit and not a regular occurrence
We love it here so we will always return we just hope these help that sometimes the little things need a double check !
Perfect as very close to Silverstone where we were going
Location great and the evening meal exceptional. Lovely starter of Pigeon followed by a deconstructed Venison toad-on-the-hole.......too full for pudding.
Room was nice and clean, spacious and comfortable with a great shower.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing
we couldnt get access as the pub was shut , and we didnt recieve email for the key safe so we had to book a new hotel .
i have rang them but still waiting for a refund
Spotlessly clean room. Large comfortable soft bed. Nice new white linens and towels. Thoughtful provision of a flask of fresh milk with the breakfast hamper. USB sockets for phone beside bed. Restaurant with good, well-priced range of food and some nice wine by the glass. Very friendly, helpful young staff.
Breakfast a bit depressing for the cost of the stay. Also the water filter in the Tassimo coffee machine had expired, which can be dangerous, so I didn’t want to use it. The wi-fi would not give access with the code left on the room instruction sheet. Some people might find no TV a challenge.
Modern up to date room
No tv
Good location for Silverstone, decent room, and good food in the bar.
Just be aware that the check-in time listed here (3pm) is incorrect - the pub (and therefore rooms) are not accessible until 5pm.
Lovely location
Booked it under the impression it was a pub with ability to have drinks and food. Pub was closed so no interaction with staff making it very bad value for money. Basically just a bed.
Rooms are spacious, as is the bathroom. Absolutely outstanding food.
Rooms could do with a homely touch, such as a rug on the bedroom floor
Staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast basket was a real bonus. Room clean, comfortable and well presented. All I needed for a one night stay.
Plenty of parking on site.
Towels were a little tired, mattress a bit soft but neither spoilt my stay.
Close to our eventual destination.
The automated coffee maker didn’t work.
Enjoyed the light breakfast. Walkable location. Convenient restaurant on-site with good selection of food and beverages.
Small table (folding would be okay) needed in room to accompany the chair. Poor bedside lighting (not sufficiently bright).
Comfortable bed and very good dinner in pub at a reasonable price. Useful location for our trip to Silverstone.
It was a shame as we had planned to have dinner and then curl up in bed and watch a film with a glass of wine. But no TV! Very unusual. The coffee machine was a faff with lots of unnecessary plastic. Decent instant with fresh milk or a cafetière would be much better.
Comfortable room and excellent dinner
They should think about adding a proper cooked breakfast. The breakfast basket was okay, but as the dinner was so good, I’m sure they could have produced an excellent cooked and continental breakfast.
