Pros:

The location is brilliant. The rooms were comfortable and bed nice to sleep on. Tea making g facilities adequate. The staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The cleanliness was what let everything down.
Our room was dusty and there were marks down the toilet pan from the previous people. A toilet brush would have sorted this out.
Our towels weren't replaced on request.
I had to go up to the reception area at the bar and ask for them.
The carpet was also badly stained between the beds.

Pros:

Our stay was only a short stay for the Christmas period but the room was absolutely amazing.

Cons:

Someone came into our room in the morning of Christmas and even though the door was locked and the key was in the door they still managed to get in. We was unsure who it was thar walked in but there was no apology and it scared our children

Freezing Room
Pros:

It was available.
It was quiet and clean.

Cons:

Room was a bit cramped.
No desk.
Food finished at 5pm.
The room was freezing.
No heating in the room all night and the next morning.
I had to go to bed with clothes on.
Tried adjusting the radiator valve etc.
No temperature control on the wall either.

Pros:

Nothing, I was called at 7pm to ask what time I would get there as they were closing. I asked what facilities there was after 8 and told Nothing, you will be in your room only. I asked about what arrangements for the morning as leaving st 7am and told there isn't any. I booked another hotel.

Cons:

See above, do not go there.

The sole member of staff was great, it wasn't her fault that the hotel closes at 8pm.
Pros:

The lone member of staff was very friendly and very helpful.
The room was clean and warm.

Cons:

The Hotel closes at 8pm in the winter. This is not advertised on the Booking.com website where it tells you that you are able to check in from 3pm until 11pm.
The hotel check in actually closes at 8pm. The bar and all other facilities close at 8pm and in essence, after 8pm all you have is a room for the night. No restaurant, no food. Nothing. Just a room.
My room didn't have a wardrobe, or any coat hangers, and only had coat hooks.

Exactly what we needed for a night near Bath
Pros:

Rooms were clean and spacious, parking was easy inside the premises and the surroundings were beautiful.

Cons:

It’s a bit distant from the center of bath and difficult to find at night.
