Very good
Pros:

Breakfast and evening meal very good,all staff very friendly and welcoming ,a pleasure , these little things not often found elsewhere !!

Cons:

Obtaining a receipt appears to be a bridge too far, requested one ,4 times to no avail , 2 ladies 1 answering machine and finally a gent still waiting!!!

Wonderful one night stay as an introduction into our Lake District trip
Pros:

We had a lovely third floor room with a view out over the countryside. The restaurant was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. Also, there was ample on-site parking, which was fantastic.

Cons:

It was not a problem for us, but we did have a third floor room and there is no elevator.

A fantastic place to stay!
Pros:

The Pheasant Inn is a lovely place to stay. Really lovely friendly people, really delicious food, amazing beer, and a beautiful location that's great for exploring from. The rooms are very comfortable and impeccably clean. Will definitely go back hopefully again and again!

Really excellant, would recommend
Pros:

A fantastic, friendly and welcoming place to stay. the room was excellent, the service was fantastic the food was great and I would certainly stay again.

Cons:

The wifi signal didnt seem to reach the room but it was fine.

Enjoyable two days stay, although the weather could have been better.
Pros:

Friendly staff, good restaurant, large bedroom and great shower in teh bathroom

Cons:

Wifi is poor in the bedroom. Could do with expanding.

Ganz nettes und hilfsbereites Personal mit tollen Zimmer.
Pros:

Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, da wir an einer Hochzeit in der Gegend waren. War aber eine super Auswahl.

A lovely short break in a highly recommended Inn!
Pros:

The Pheasant Inn is just amazing. The staff are all so friendly, efficient & helpful. The food also is exceptional, the menu is very good, lots of choices for breakfast, lunch & dinner & there is also daily specials, all of a very high quality & cooked & presented beautifully. Would recommend booking beforehand, so as not to be disappointed! The bedrooms are very well equipped, even have air conditioning & have very comfortable beds & lovely shower rooms.

Couldn’t fault anything!

The friendly Pheasant Inn
Pros:

From the moment you walk in it feels very homey. Staff and management can't do enough for you. The food was great. The room was lovely clean and tidy. There was different eating seating options outside in the garden, in the bright snd sunny restaurant or in the cosy bar.

Pros:

The staff were fantastic, the breakfast incredible and the evening meal top quality. We had a room with air-conditioning which was a game changer in the heat
