Excellent location and good value to money.
Pros:

Excellent location, close to the main attractions and plenty of restaurants and shops. Only a 5-minute walk from the train station and just a few meters from a bus stop. Good breakfast with a decent variety of options. The room was clean and spacious.

Note: Be aware that some lake-view rooms have bathrooms without full walls, which may feel unusual. I stayed in a city-view room, which was more standard, and I have nothing negative to say. The manager, David, is very friendly and welcoming.

Pros:

ancien hotel n'ayant pas le confort des établissements plus récents (ce qui explique son prix moins élevé que les autres dans cette petite ville ultra touristique) mais très bien situé et qui nous a largement satisfait pour cette nuit d'étape. plusieurs parking à proximité et escalier pour monter sur la gare juste à coté de l'hotel

Excellent stay
Pros:

We loved our stay at Hotel Splendid. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a view over the lake and mountains. The room was clean, tidy and well furnished, with a balcony we could sit out on too. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The croissants are very good, as are the scrambled eggs. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

L'hotel si trova in posizione invidiabile lungo il lago. Ha una bellissima facciata, mentre all'interno lo possiamo definire demode, sarebbe da svecchiare. La nostra stanza da 3 era sufficientemente grande, con un grande televisore, letti comodi. Il bagno anche abbastanza grande e comodo. La sala colazione è molto bella, affacciata sul lago. La colazione abbondante, tanti cereali, pane e croissant ottimi, formaggio, prosciutto, anche uova strapazzate. David ci ha accolti benissimo, parlava italiano ed è stato molto gentile e disponibile.
