Fabulous location - but fairly basic
Pros:

Fantastic view of the Eiger from our balcony, wihch was a good size with table and chairs. Room was nice but basic - no air conditoning, no fridge, no water other than tap water (which is safe to drink), no tea/coffee making
Breakfast was also fairly basic - continental, nice bread and average choice of cereals.
Room was on 3rd floor and ok for size with nice bathroom and as said lovely balcony (NB no lift).
You are a long way from the centre of Grindelwald but hotel provides a free pass for the local bus which is every 30 minutes.

Cons:

As said no air conditoning, no fridge,, no tea/coffee making.
Disappointing breakfast.
Pillows are ridiculous; soft and flabby - might as well not be there!

Great room and views, but extremely poor local transportation options
Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean, and the view from the property was beautiful. The accuracy of the listing photos and information on Booking.com was also great.

Cons:

Public bus service stops after 6:00 PM, leaving a 1-hour uphill walk to get back to the hotel, which is extremely inconvenient for travelers. When we called the hotel for assistance, they simply told us to call an Uber, but there are no Uber drivers operating in the area. Additionally, the balcony offers very little privacy as it is located right next to the adjacent room's balcony.

Lovely staff and wonderful views
Pros:

Staff were extremely polite and friendly. Breakfast was amazing - all of the food was fresh and delicious. Location is a bit far from town if you’re walking however the hotel gives you a free bus pass which takes you right out front the hotel!

Cons:

Nothing! It was great!

Urlauber mit Hund sollten diese Unterkunft nicht wählen.

Das Zimmer war gemütlich.
Die Lage ist super.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war recht einfach, nichts Besonderes.
Wir wurden sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Hatten Probleme mit der Chefin, was unseren Hund betraf, was unsere Ankunft sehr unangenehm machte.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Blümlisalp in Grindelwald. Das gesamte Team an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, und die Sauberkeit war hervorragend. Besonders begeistert hat uns das unglaublich leckere Frühstück! 🥐☕️

Die Chefin war ebenfalls sehr nett und herzlich, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, und die wunderschöne Landschaft und Natur rund um Grindelwald machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! ❤️🇨🇭

Wspaniały reset w Alpach Berneńskich
Pros:

Hotelik ma znakomitą lokalizację, na uboczu miasteczka, z balkonu roztacza się piękny widok na Alpy. Pokój jest mały, znacznie mniejszy niż w opisie. Łóżka bardzo niewygodne, miękkie i dość "wysłużone" materace. Śniadania bardzo "skromne", personel....personel bardzo specyficzny, można czuć się w tym pięknym miejscu jak intruz, który zakłóca Szwajcarom ich górski spokój:).. Widok na góry rekompensuje jednak te niedogodności:)

Cons:

You had to catch the last bus from town around 6:30. Taxi ride from hotel to town was $45 CHF if there is no early bus.
