The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived after check in hours and they stayed to get us checked in. They also allowed for an early checkout so we could catch our train. They even left us with a to-go breakfast bag because we would miss breakfast that morning. The property was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was outstanding. The location was ideal for us, It was close to transportation, but it was nice and quiet at night.
L hotel est situé, sur la commune de Matten, a quelques encablures du centre d'Interlaken, 10 mn a pied.
Batiment typiquement Suisse, en bois, mais tres bien agencé;
La chambre parfaite, avec climatisation. salle de bains avec baignoire bof !
Quartier peu bruyant et à proximité des transports en commun.
Accueil correct, en allemand, restaurant sur place, fort convenable, petit déjeuner bien achalandé

Není možnost na uzamykatelne parkovani kol, u snidane obcas byly pouze zbytky, museli jsme si o jidlo rikat. Velice rusne silnice okolo i v noci.
La vue depuis la chambre était absolument magnifique, un grand plaisir que de l’admirer le matin depuis son lit!
L’hôtel a beaucoup de charme, c’est tout à fait l’esprit que l’on recherche en venant à Interlaken.
Le petit déjeuner est très agréable, abondant et varié.
Juste l’énorme robinetterie du tout petit lavabo rendait son utilisation peu pratique pour se laver les dents et le visage 🥵
The hotel is very charming. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a mosquito net as we slept with open windows.
The breakfast was fabulous. The food in the restaurant was also very good; we had dinner here several evenings. The owner was very kind and helpful.
So everything was perfect! 😊
Very old building but it wasn’t kept up. Bathroom very old with mold in shower. Pillows flat. Not maintained nor updated.

We loved the location, super friendly staff and it was awesome that is place is 360 years ago. So much character. Wish we could have stayed longer! Fresh water source across the street : )

Bas plafond pour quelqu’un d’1m92, impossible de se tenir debout dans la chambre ni dans le couloir et l’espace du déjeuner.
Un bruit infernal entre les clients du dessus qu’on entendait parfaitement dans notre chambre et le chien d’en face qui aboyait sans cesse.
Petit déjeuner avec bcp d’articles « low calorie » mais bonjour les édulcorants et autres …

Peaceful and only 5 minute walk away.
Beds could have been a little more comfortable but ok.
The hotel was a typical real Swiss alpine house from the 1600s with modern rooms.
We loved everything about it
